As the sun began to sink beneath the horizon, the girl had to face the facts: she had lost the Fangpyre.

She couldn't help but clench her teeth in frustration as she steered her samurai mecha back to her secret hideout. She had been a second too slow, which had allowed those snake-like thugs enough time to vanish into seemingly thin air. She had searched and searched, but there was no trace of them. She probably would have kept searching, but her grumbling stomach reminded her that she had only eaten a light breakfast all day. So, with a bitter taste in her mouth, she retreated to her new home.

At least it wasn't so bad, she thought, finally catching sight of her secret hideout and steering towards it. My mech suit works perfectly. Not to mention that I had saved someone's life.

The girl allowed a small smile to tug at the corners of her lips as she landed her mech inside the abandoned warehouse. She remembered arriving at the scene of the crime, only to find those new "superheroes" that she had heard on the radio already there. What were they called again? Oh, that's right--The Ninja. For ninja, they weren't all that stealthy. I mean, one of them was wearing bright red, for goodness sakes! Though she had to admit, she did like the one wearing the blue suit....what? Blue was her favorite color, okay?!

Anyways, she had seen one of them get hit across the face and fall, while some Fangpyre thugs tried to crush him with a huge dumpster. She stepped in, caught it, and started to chase after the thugs. But they had disappeared, leading her to her current situation.

The teenaged girl sighed and she opened the hatch and leapt out of her mech. She had been hoping to follow the Fangpyre and see if she could possibly find out where their hideout was and if they could potentially lead her to her enemies. Ah, well. There was always next time. She'll just have to be a little quicker...and hopefully those ninja wouldn't need her help again.

But that was for later. Right now, there was a frozen pizza with her name on it.

After the ninja had trudged their way back to the Bounty, Cole had decided that it would be best if they had a quick team meeting to discuss what had happened.

The "quick" part didn't really happen.

First, they had to wait for Zane to wake up before they started. He eventually did, but upon waking up, he refused to go anywhere near Kai until the fire ninja's nose had stopped bleeding. Naturally, there were many protests, but Zane said that the only way he'd be in the same room as Kai's bloody nose was if they blindfolded him.

Kai blindfolded him.

So now the teenaged boys were in Cole's room, with Cole, Zane, and Kai sitting on the floor and Jay lying sideways on top of Cole's bed.

"So," Cole started, sitting with his legs crossed and his back straight. "Anyone want to start us off?"

"Ya know," Jay said, idly kicking his legs. "When Zane said that you'd have blindfold him in order for him to be anywhere near you, Kai, I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic."

"Did you have to use your own belt?" Zane complained, tugging at the red cloth wrapped around his head covering his eyes. "All I see is red."

"Shut up, it was the only thing that I had," Kai grouched, stretching his legs out in front of him while he leaned back against Cole's bed. The red ninja's voice was slightly off due to the fact that he had a tissue lodged in his right nostril, which was still leaking a little blood.

"Good thing it didn't have any blood stains on it," Jay remarked.

Zane abruptly paled. "Please don't joke about that."
