Hello fabulous people! Welcome to the next part of Breaking the Ice! Where am I? Well, I've made myself cozy in my super-secret, fangirl-proof hideout. Why is that? Well, let's just say that the next few parts get a little...intense at times. Nothing bad, but...well, I rated this story T for teen for a reason. Plus, there may or may not involve a few moments in which people try to kill me. Which, of course, they can't because again, fangirl-proof hideout.
But enough outta me. Onto the story!

The second that Kai regained consciousness, he immediately wished that he hadn't.
His head was killing him. His eyes were stinging like crazy and just the act of opening his eyes made his head pound and his stomach feel nauseous. The fiery teen groaned and held his head in his hands.
What the hell happened to me? He wondered, trying to ignore the sick feeling in his stomach.
Someone called his name, but it sounded muffled to the fiery teen. Cracking open his eyes and trying not to moan as his nausea grew worse, Kai noticed a blue blob and a black blob in front of him.
"Kai..." one of the blobs said. "Kai, are you alright?"
Kai moaned again. "I think I'm gonna puke," he mumbled.
The minute the words left his mouth, the nausea in the his stomach became overwhelming. Bile rose up his throat, causing him to gag and slap a hand over his mouth. Oh god, I really am gonna puke.
A small bucket appeared in his vision, which Kai quickly grabbed. Not a second later, Kai lost the battle against his nausea and was sick.
The fiery teen was vaguely aware of someone rubbing his back, but the only thing that he could focus on was this sucks.
It felt like forever before his stomach stopped trying to turn itself inside-out. Groaning, Kai carefully set the bucket down on the floor and lay down on his back, covering his eyes with his arm.
Something poked his arm. "Kai?" He heard Jay's voice ask. "You feeling okay?"
"If by 'okay' you mean I feel like shit, then yeah," Kai groaned. "I feel just peachy."
"He'll be fine," he heard Cole laugh. "Oh, and watch your language."
"Screw you."
"Oh yeah," Jay laughed, and Kai felt a hand rest on his shoulder. "Kai's back."
"Where'd I go?" Kai asked, uncovering his eyes. "What happened? And..." he did a quick headcount and came up one short. "Where's Frosty? Don't tell me he's hurt too."
Cole and Jay shared a look, which instantly put Kai on edge, before Cole sighed and sat on the end of the bed the red ninja was lying on. "It's...it's a long story."
Both Cole and Jay filled Kai in on what had happened. The red ninja had groaned in embarrassment when Jay recounted how he had acted while on drugs(and promptly threatened to set the both of them on fire if they dared bring the incident up ever again).
Then Cole explained what had happened on his end, and Kai's embarrassment was quickly replaced with red-hot rage.
"You WHAT?!" he roared, his eyes flashing crimson and his hands subtly smoking. "HOW COULD YOU HAVE LET THAT HAPPEN?!"
Kai was thisclose to tackling the black ninja, but his stomach violently protested the motion, so he was forced to abort the move or otherwise risk throwing up again.
