Hello lovely people, and welcome to Part 2 of Breaking the Ice! I'm once again in my fangirl-proof hideout because...well, you probably already read the title...hehehehe...
Also, I suck at writing fight scenes. XD

"My lord."
"Hmmm?" The man with the red eyes looked up from where he was brooding over his plans, frowning at the interruption. "What is it, Pythor?"
"Oh, nothing," the tall man said, smirking. "Just thought I'd inform you that the trap has been set. Skalidor and Acidicus have their men in position and are now waiting for the ninja to show up. Which, hopefully, shouldn't be long."
"Good," the red-eyed man replied, his tone hard as steel. "They had better not fail me. I've already had too many failures."
"Oh, I'm sure they'll be fine, my lord," Pythor said. "Skalidor has those unbreakable binds that we...lent him. And Acidicus has assured me that the drug he uses will be more than enough to incapacitate the targets. And given his expertise in the area, I'm hard-pressed to disagree with him."
"Hmph." The man with the red eyes humphed, not entirely impressed. Out of all of the Serpentine leaders(who, for some unknown reason, prefered to be called "Generals"), Skalidor and Acidicus were his least favorite. While Acidicus was clever, he was also very greedy and only wanted three things in life: money, fame, and his drugs. The man had made a fortune in the illegal drug trade, having somehow creating his own special addictive drug called 'Venom'. The drug was special in that its effect varied from person to person: for some, it had an effect similar to alcohol while for others it was like taking a bunch of energy shots, though most people experienced hallucinations. Acidicus, thankfully, was not addicted to his drugs, but he would fight tooth-and-nail to protect them. He wouldn't even let anyone know how he makes his special drug, which frustrated the red-eyed man to no end.
Skalidor, unfortunately, was even worse than Acidicus. The short man was strong, almost scarily strong, but what he had in brawn and pure brute strength, he lacked in brains, as did most of his men. They were bullies in all rights, and just like bullies, many of them were cowards. They were usually the first ones baying for blood, but the minute the situation became too difficult for them, they fled with their tails tucked between their legs.
Still, despite their many flaws, Skalidor and Acidicus were valuable allies and would help the red-eyed man's plan come to fruition.
And now, it was time to test their value.
All he had to do now...was wait...

From atop a small shop in the north side of Ninjago City, Zane and Cole quietly watched as they watched what was unfolding on the streets below them.
Cole let out a little groan as he saw who was causing all of the mayhem in the city. "Not another snake-related gang," he complained.
"I'm afraid that is what we are about to face, my friend," Zane said apologetically. "Odd. They look like the Fangpyre but with different colors."
True enough, when Cole looked again, he quickly noticed the similarities between the Fangpyre and this new gang. But where the Fangpyre thugs wore red and white, these thugs wore black, grey, and orange. The new thugs also looked a lot buffer than the Fangpyre were.
"Okay," Cole sighed, brain already on overdrive. "Any ideas on how you want to tackle this?"
"Hmmm," Zane hummed as he thought, analyzing their surroundings. "Perhaps if we--"
