Author's Note: *pants like I've just run a marathon* Holy...shoot...you guys. This part did NOT want to be written. I got writer's block at least three times and school made it hard to find time to write. Also, this part is waaaaaaay longer than I intended it to be(over 8,000 words!) and I honestly considered splitting this into two parts. But then I realized that I haven't updated this story in almost three months(I'm sooooo sorry, people!) so I decided to leave it as it is. Think of this as my apology for taking so long to update.

But anyways! Welcome to the last part of The Legend of the Samurai arc! If you're wondering where I am, I'm in my fangirl-proof hideout because....wellllll, I'll just let you guys read to find out.

The buildings that lined the streets of Ninjago City blurred as Jay and his companion ran back to the west side of the city. In almost no time, the blue ninja skidded to a halt right next to the Samurai's Mech.

"Aaaaand, we have arrived. Thank you for traveling with Ninja Enterprise, we hope to see you again soon," Jay narrated, turning towards The Samurai, who was wobbling on her feet. "Er, are you okay?" He asked, concerned.

The Samurai shook her head vigorously before tapping at a bracelet on her wrist. "Nine point eight one seconds," she said, sounding impressed. "Not bad."

Jay grinned. "Ha! Told you so!" He then turned towards the Mech. "Now, let's see if we can't fix this—!"

"There you are!"

"Yikes!" Jay yelped, turning around to face the voice. "Er, hi Co—I mean Captain," He stammered, remembering that there was someone who didn't know their secret identities. "I was just—dude, what happened to your forehead?!"

Cole looked up at the lump the size of a bouncy ball just over his right eyebrow. "Tundra's," he replied, using Zane's code name.

Jay looked around. "Where is he? And where's Red Inferno?"

Cole pointed behind him. "Arctic Tundra's still unconscious. And Inferno is...um, how do I put this? Let's just say that he's still in pain."

Jay peeked around his leader, trying to see his teammates. He saw Zane on his back, eyes closed while Kai was still in the place and position that he had seen him last.

The blue ninja walked over to his fallen teammate. "Hey Inferno," He said casually, taking in the fiery teen's pained expression. "Ummm, on a scale of one to ten, how badly are you in pain?"

Kai opened one of his eyes and glared at Jay.

"Oooh, that bad, huh?" Jay winced.

Kai proceeded to tell Jay just how bad it was by flipping him off.

"Hey!" Cole protested from where he was trying—and failing—to wake up the white ninja. "Language!"

Kai groaned. "Didn't...ugh...even say anything...jerk," he struggled to say. "Oh gosh, why does this hurt so much???"

Jay awkwardly patted Kai's shoulder. "I'm sure it'll be okay soon, buddy," he said.

Kai snorted. "Thanks, bro, I feel so much better," he said sarcastically.

"Ya know, if you weren't already in enough pain, I'd probably smack you," Cole dryly remarked.

"Ugh, screw you," the red ninja replied.

"Hey, be nice," Jay chided.

"When am I ever nice?"

"...Touché."

"Uuuuuuuugh."

Jay and Kai turned towards the sound, watching as their white teammate started stirring and groaning in pain.
