Chapter 7 - She's So Beautiful

Kristine's POV

Love at first sight is not that bad after all. Seeing that certain person for the very first time is just completely amazing, especially when you get the chance to finally talk to him. If that guy seems beautiful inside and out, you just can't resist to not stop thinking about him. And the more you meet him, the better he gets. It's just so incomprehensible but it actually makes perfect sense that someone whom you just knew can be such an amazing person at the end.

There are also times that first sight fools you. You think he's all that good at the beginning, but actually ends up being a mess once you really get to know him. You'll say that he's popular, good-looking, and nice. In short, he's perfect. But just in a snap, he could be the exact opposite of who you first knew when you saw him. I guess you know who I'm talking about. The first one's about Finn and the latter's Jake. Oh, Jake. What made you change so quickly?

"Finny! How are you, mate?" Jack runs and hugs his older twin brother.

"I'm fine, mate. You?" Danica, Sam and I are kind of far behind Jack because he's a brisk runner. I'm getting anxious upon seeing Finn. I don't know what I'd tell him. I don't think he even knows Jack and I are friends. And I have these feelings for the both of them. I hope my mask becomes useful. As we came nearer to the two, Finn recognized me and his smile became wider and deeper. What? He's happy to see me?

"Kristine?" he calls out my name for clarification. Oh, he remembers me! Thank God! I didn't want to make things awkward between us. Just imagine if he doesn't recall my name or who I am. We'd be walking along the sidewalks of London, laughing around, sharing jokes. And there'll be a point in time when I'll have to remind him about that night. That awful night that he turned to a beautiful fantasy. I've been hurt by the hypocrite but then at the end of the night, I get saved by my knight in shining armour.

"Finn!" I exclaim as he approaches me and brings me into an embrace. Gosh, his hug is much warmer than any hug I have ever experienced before. I wish that life is just a stereo, that I may be able to pause this whole moment and replay it. As we let go, Jack was quite surprised. Quite is the best adverb for it. He was REALLY shocked, his jaw dropped.

"Wait. You're close?" Jack inquires us and Finn & I just laughed.

"No. No. We just met once," he smiles. It was kind of weird because whenever we meet glances, he looks down or at something far away then clenches his fist, releases it quickly and rubs his palm with his fingers. Is he nervous? If it's true, am I the reason? I've never believed for a long time that I would make some adorable and good-looking guy nervous. God, he's so cute when he's tense.

"When? And how?" Jack adds. *cough* Jealous Jack *cough*. Weirdo. Oh wait. We're in public. The acting thing. Almost forgot. But no. This is Finn we have here. The first guy who really comforted me and consoled my broken heart right after I broke up with Jake.

"Are you--?" Finn points at me. Even if he did not finish his sentence, I wholly understand that he's asking me if I'll be the one who would narrate the story to him.

"Nah. You--" I also point at him and nod. When he was about to start talking about it, he paused then looked back to me.

"Is it ok if I tell him about---?" he pauses, putting his thumb up.
