Chapter Twelve

Jessica P.O.V

Getting lost in the living room, I made my way to the dining table to have my breakfast. I really was not familiar with the place since it was my second day here. I entered the room and I saw Vincent sitting looking through his phone. I'm guessing it was the media he was looking at since they always seem to have news about the Lupo's everyday. I was surprise I didn't hear anything about me since I was a singer; well! not a big one but I was. I just finished my last album before coming here to tell Vincent I accept his proposal but I found out my mom was sick. She had a really bad cold and couldn't come out of bed for a couple of days but she's doing find now and I was glad since I had a lot of issues of my own. I was still madly in love with Vincent and it hurt to see him with Dinah. Who stays at there ex's house to avoid the media?! It was just frustrating.

Letting out a groan I sat at the table. I didn't look at him so I didn't know if he looked at me or not. Zina brought pancakes and some fruits to the table. She served us both before going back to the kitchen. I picked up the fork and dived into my pancakes.

Vincent looks at Jess. Jessica chews as she looks around...

Vincent: "We're not talking anymore?"

No answer...

Vincent: Whispers "I don't want you here either but we have to do this so we wouldn't draw attention."

Jessica: Groans "I'm here protecting your image from the media!"

Vincent: Whispers "I can't afford any rumors about us"

Jessica: roll eyes "I don't mind showing the world."

Vincent: "Don't be difficult"

Jessica: "Can you just grow the fuck up?" Takes another bite of her pancakes

Vincent: runs his finger through his hair "You always do this."

Jessica: "Do what?" Looks at him

Vincent: "Get difficult when you can't have what you want!"

Jessica: "I'm not doing this with you. It's a beautiful morning and besides stress isn't good for the baby"

Vincent: roll eyes "fine I have something to tell you."

Jessica: "What? You knocked Dinah up too?"

Vincent: gives her a grim look "No, it's about our engagement... its official."

Jessica: puts down the fork scowling "I could care less! Why don't you just tell the media that I'm pregnant too and let's be one big happy family!!" Saying sarcastically then gets up and goes to her room

Vincent Follows her

I wanted to cry so badly. There it was again her name in his mouth, seriously!! Before I could close the door he stopped it with his feet and I left the door not even trying to put any force on it to stop him. I picked up my hand bag and tried to get away but he held me back.

Vincent: "Jess.. please understand."

Jessica: "Understand what? That the person I'm in love with is marrying someone else?!"

Vincent: "You have a funny way of showing it" folds his arms across his chess

Jessica: pushes him "I love you, you ass! I can't stand seeing you with her." punching him in the chest "You were suppose to be mine!" shouting at him
