Chapter Eighteen

Clair P.O.V

As I parked my car. I made my way to my dad's office. I saw Iris in the living room catching up with an friend and I smiled at her before making my way up the stairs. As I walked down the hall I saw the lights on in his office. I knocked and opened the door. 

Clair: "Hey dad" sitting in the chair in front of him "you wanted to see me?"

My dad looked up at me and smiled. I tilted my head as I bit my lower lip waiting for a response.

Dad: "So you and Sinn huh?"

I felt my cheeks heating up of the sound of his name as I search for words to answer him

Clair: "Let's just say it's complicated."

Dad: smiles "Well no further comment. Let's get into business eh?"

I shook my head and sit up in the chair

Dad: "I want you to meet a new investor for me" giving Clair his files "His name is James Harper."

I took the files and scan it for a quick moment. He own a few companies and also a popular one called "Star Entertainment". I cringe my teeth as I remember the news that was put out yesterday.

Clair: "What does he want more details about me?"

Dad: laughs "About the business"

Clair: "Hopefully"

Dad: "You'll be fine."

I smiled at him before getting up to leave the room. As I nearly reach the door I heard my name...

Dad: "Clair?"

Clair: "Yes dad?"

Dad: walks up to her "Be careful"

Clair: gives him a puzzle look "Be careful with what?"

Dad: "Be wise"

And with that he kissed me on my forehead and walked out of the office. I didn't know what he meant but I surely were going to take it into consideration.

Sinn P.O.V

I Pace myself back and forth as I wait in the hospital. Kate and Tommy was already with Vic having there moment with her. My mind was injecting me with thoughts. Should I let her go? No don't do that Sinn, keep her have hope don't let go yet. I don't know I was confused. I closed my eyes and thought for a moment and there she was Clair. I calm down slowly, for some strange reason she was hope for me.

Kate touched my shoulders taking me out of my thoughts and bringing me back to reality. I open my eyes and both her and Tommy was in front of me.

Kate: "You should go see her I'll give you some time."

Sinn: "Thanks."

I ruffled Tommy hair before walking into the room. There she was still looking beautiful as ever. Her silky black hair grew longer and she looked a bit more paler. I walked over to her and gently kissed her forhead. I took her hands in mine and sat next to her.
I just looked at her for a while. I didn't say anything for a long moment.

I gently carresed her cheek.

Sinn: "I want you to come back to me. I miss your smile, your laughter, the way you make me feel. I miss every single thing. I've had a lot of hope wishing you'll wake up and come back to me. sighs I met somebody Vic, kissing her hands she's beautiful like you... She made me feel like I can love again. I don't know why I'm telling you this but for some reason I wish it was you. Tears runs down his face as he whispers "please come back to me."
