Chapter Twenty Four

Sinn P.O.V

The ringing of my phone woke me up. It was still dark so I knew it was an emergency. I sat up and grabbed my phone. I didn't want to wake Clair since she was peacefully sleeping next to me so to make things easier I stepped into the bathroom.

Sinn: "Hello?"

Kate: "Sinn! you need to come down to Texas right now!"

Sinn: "Why whats wrong?"

Kate: "its Victoria she's awake."

Sinn: "What?! Are you shitting me right now?"

Kate: "Just get your ass over here as soon as possible okay?" hangs up

I swear I felt my heart pounding out of my chest. What the fuck? This is so wrong, just as I thought things were going well with Clair another problem fits its self into place. Well she wasn't a problem but gosh it was a problem, I don't know if i'm making sense or any of this made sense

Clair: knocks on the door "Are you alright in there?"

I open the door and give her my calmest smile possible. I'm sure that back fired 

Clair: Put her arms around his neck and give him a kiss "I know when you're lying"

Sinn: "I have a emergency at home." 

Clair: "Is everything okay?" 

Sinn: "I don't know, I need to go and check things out."

Clair: "Sure i'll take care of things here" smiles 

Sinn: "I know you will." caresses her cheeks "I love you."

Clair: smiles "I love you too."

Victoria P.O.V

I was so happy to see my son. He looked bigger, tall and handsome. I didn't even know if I'd remember to walk when I got out of my bed and hugged the hell out of him. I Smiled as I looked at Kate giving her a hug as well but for some reason she seem nervous.

Vic: "Are you okay?"

Kate: "I'm great, just a bit shocked."

Vic: "Its okay, where's Sinn?"

Kate: "He's coming soon, I just called him." smiles "Get back in bed."

Vic: "How is he?"

Kate: "He's been.. uhhh great!" gives a quick smile  "He's a successful business owner and  a very popular person around here"

Vic: "I've missed so much."  smiles 

Kate: "Of course you did." smiles "I need to head out for a bit. I'll check on you later okay?"

Vic: "Sure." 

Tommy: "I'll stay with mom."

Kate: "Sure." kissing him on his forehead

Clair P.O.V

I sat down at my desk with a bad feeling. I twirled the pen between my finger as I linger deep in my thoughts. Why did he had to leave so abruptly I sigh, it was weird. I took a deep breath as I open my lap top to start some work.
