Chapter Nineteen

Sinn P.O.V

I followed her to her room, her hands were in her hair grabbing at them at she pace the floor back and forth.

Sinn: "Just calm down."

Kate: "No! I love you okay?! I always did." looks at him "I did before Victoria even did."

Sinn: "What do you mean?"

Kate: "I loved you first and Victoria knew this but I didn't go after you she like did. walks up to him "I always supported her cleaning up her problems always making her seem like she's the good one but she never loved you like i did." 

Sinn: "Kate just stop." 

Kate: "Stop what? The truth?" tears falls down her face  "It was never me huh?"

I give her a blank expression biting my lips. She looked at me and then turned around with anger. She then turned back to me pushing me hard.

Kate: "Are you going to answer me?" sobbing 

Sinn: "No... sighs it was always Vic, I always saw you as my best friend nothing more. I never got that expression that you liked me either." 

Kate: "Right." wipes her tears  "get out!."

I silently came out of her room not knowing what else to say. I think she just needed space I really didn't know but this was something I had to deal with later.

Clair P.O.V

I wore my hair up in a bun, with an bright pink dress I got my white coat to go with it since it was snowing. Making my way downstairs I met up with Iris and my dad in the kitchen.

Iris: "You look beautiful baby doll. Where you heading to?"

Clair: "James invited me to brunch. He said it would be best to talk business."

Dad: "Great, Val invited Dinah and Vincent also so you guys make sure you impress."

Iris: "come on George, can the girl just enjoy brunch?"

Clair: "Yes dad, can a girl just enjoy brunch?"

Dad: "Yes, enjoy brunch while you impress." smiles

Clair: giggles "I will. I'll see you later guys."

Iris: "Have fun." 

I made my way to the address that Vincent sent me and made my way to the house. 

As I reached the door the smell of pancakes and Coffee hit me. The butler  took my coat and Escorted me to the room where everyone were. I saw Vincent and Raphael having a friendly conversation across the room while Val sit playing with her chain on her neck while she sips on  her wine. I scan the room for Dinah and she was at the table filling her plate with sweets. I made my way over to her giving her a hug. she breathe out in relief.

Dinah: "I'm glad you're here."

Clair: "No problem." smiles looking around the room "And where is our host."

Dinah: shrugs  her shoulder as she add another cupcake to her plate "I have know idea." 

 I looked over at Val and she give me a quick smile then it faded. I turn my attention to Dinah.

Clair: "Oh well, looks at Dinah are you okay? You seem out of it last night."

Dinah: "I know, I'm sorry about that."
