As I lay on this table, doctors and surgeons calmly walk around preparing for my operation. They all wear the same blue slacks and each cover their face with a paper mask.

I can't even remember how many times I contemplated going through with this, but some things just need to go the way they were planned to go.

The real life changing decision isn't the surgery itself, it's what I plan to with my life after the surgery.

My doctor say down with me yesterday to discuss the major outline of my life, so he could educate me when I wake up in recovery.

"If everything goes as planned, your brain will continue to work properly and your old memories will soak in. This will help you continue your life as planned."

But I had another plan.

He thought it was quit strange and put up a convincing argument against it, but it didn't convince me. I hated the way my life had folded out. I told myself that this would change the way my life was headed though.

After agreeing sadly to my request, I walked out of the office finally feeling free of my dreadful past, and free of the chains that had held me in this town.

The tallest surgeon walked one to my side holding a mask with a long tube attached to the end.

"Allyson, we are going to start the operation now. This mask will put you asleep giving us full ability to perform the surgery without causing you any pain."

I ignore the comment about my former name, but nod in agreement. I should be thinking about falling asleep-it help get the job done faster, but as the mask is placed over my mouth, I only think one thing.

Your name isn't Allyson anymore, and you will never be the same girl again.

I wake up to bright and blinding lights.

Where am I? Who am I?

I slowly sit up, but then lay back down noticing the impulsive throbbing in my head. What happened to me?

I slightly turn my head and see several empty beds in a row with mine, and silver carts with medical tools. A short nurse walks in carrying a clipboard that holds many documents.

"You're awake!" She gleefully smiles.

I tilt my head in confusion, and she seems to notice instantaneously.

"Oh right, your doctor told me I was supposed to read you this letter!" She smacks her hand across her face, making me flinch.

Her name tag reads Sam, and she looks to be only 25. Her ginger hair, and wide smile makes her very beautiful actually, but many people wouldn't see her that way if they weren't looking.

Sam clears her throat, straightens out a small letter, and begins.

"Dear Aaron," That must be my name.

"You must be feeling very empty right now, but I can assure you that won't last for long. I can't tell you what has happened to make you feel this way, but just know that you will be safe now. There is an airplane ticket attached to this letter, that will take you to your new home.

When you arrive in England, there will be man waiting for you. He we take you to your apartment where you will live with your roommate Danielle.

She will help you find a University to attend and a job. You are going to University to be a School Teacher, preferably Kindergarten.

If you have any questions, Danielle should be able to answer them for you. I'm afraid I won't be of resource to you anymore, because my time has passed. But just remember that no matter what happens to you in the coming future, never forget me.

Love Allyson

***

I still don't know who Allyson is, but I made a promise to myself to never forget her. Whoever she is.

As I stand at these gates, and hand the flight attendant my ticket, I find myself staring out the glass windows at the landscape before me. A slight ache in my chest is pulling me towards the doors, but I have no clue why. I'm headed home.

I turn around quickly and walk onto the plane without another look.

I find my seat with no problem whatsoever. I notice that no one has yet claimed the empty seat beside me, so this might turn out to be a better flight then I had thought. My ticket implies that I should be at the seat next to the window, but I'd rather sit in the accessible isle seat.

A tablet is injected to the seat in front of me, which provides a great selection of free movies. I mentally pick out a few for later. A mans voice blares over the speakers telling everyone to fasten their seat belts for takeoff, so I do so and decide to relax.

But behind me a boy-about the same age as me-almost tramples an elderly lady placing her carry on in an overhead compartment. He politely apologizes and continues forward towards me. My eyes focus on his, and I notice how perfectly green they are. The light coming from open windows makes them sparkle, and his smile grows when he sees me.

"Excuse me Miss, but I think this is my seat." His strong British accent sends chills down my spine.

So I guess I won't be sitting alone after all.

"Oh I'm sorry, I'll just..." I start to stand up, but he stops me and moves to the window seat.

"Don't worry about it." He smiles. "I can sit here, it's no problem"

I nod and smile before closing my eyes again. But then I feel a tap on my shoulder.

"Yes?" I ask quietly.

"I'm sorry but do I know you? You look very familiar."

I'm sure I've never seen this boy before. With eyes like that, I would never forget him. So I shake my head, defiantly leaving him wondering.

"Well I'm Aaron." I smile and shake his hand.

"I'm Harry."
