~Asher~

"Asher, we have been thinking and we think you're old enough to have your own room." My dad says leaning forward and putting his elbows on his knees. It was just after dinner and I'm currently sitting on one of the couches in the living room sitting across from my parents who are sitting opposite me on the other couch.

"Really? Yes!" I say getting up and fist pumping the air while doing a happy dance. "Thank you thank you thank you!" I hug all three of my parents while smiling widely. They all smile back happiness shining in each of their eyes.

"You're welcome, you've earned it," My mom says still smiling.

"We were thinking about moving you into it tomorrow," Angie adds on. I squeal and jump around and do another happy dance.

"Yes, no more having to room with tiny children!"

"Hey! I'm not tiny!" Ella chooses then is a great time to intervene in the conversation.

"I suppose you aren't nosy either right?" I reply raising an eyebrow and crossing my arms over my chest.

"Uh, no?" I give her a pointed look.

"Okay, maybe just a little bit," She replies sheepishly while looking at the ground with her arms behind her back and tracing circles on the ground with her foot.

My parents and I start laughing as Ella just blushes. She sticks her tongue out at us and goes back upstairs. Just then Levi comes down.

"Hey, what's going on? And why does Asher look constipated?"

"I'm getting my own room!" I reply excitedly still smiling like a creep hence Levi's 'constipated' comment. I've been smiling so long that my face is starting to hurt.

"I don't care, do we have anything for dessert?" He asks our parents. I stand there slack-jawed that he dismissed me so easily while our parents laughed.

"Yeah, I think we have some ice cream in the back freezer," Angie says once she calmed down wiping tears from her face.

"Okay, can I have some?"

"Yeah, go for it."

"Okay, thank you."

He walks away to go get the ice cream and I have recovered from the momentary shock. Just then I get a text from Hanna, my best friend who's like a sister to me. I'd do anything for her.

~Crazy Lady~

>>Hey have you asked your parents if you can spend the night yet?

~Me~

<<Nope not yet I'll ask them now. Dude, you're not gonna believe what just happened!!

"Okay, have fun and be safe."

"I will," I give my dad a hug before running up to my room to pack my bag.
