I went home after the massive in counter with him. I was really tired. I didn't knew what to do. I went home and basically threw my bag on the couch and went inside. I saw my granny eating popcorn and seeing fast and furious series. Ya, this was basically her best time, watching movies. She saw me and sensed my bad mood. I went inside my room and changed into my pyjamas. I went to the kitchen and made some coffee and sandwiches. My phone vibrated.
"Hey, hope you are fine. Your family is coming tonight, maybe. My dad has invited everyone. Hope to see you" It was a message from Kevin. He is so caring and comforting. I didn't knew about this dinner so I didn't replied and instead I called my dad.
"Hey kiddo,what's up?" he said.
"Dad, are we going to ke- Nathan's house today?" I asked.
"Yes, We are talking about the your sisters marriage today. It will be a great evening Veronica. If their company joins hands with ours, this will be the biggest and the most successful marketing company. I am so happy." he said.
"So you are letting her marry Nathan because of your profit?" I said. I know my dad. He is not a greedy person but I still wanted to a sure this.
"NO! Not at all Veronica. I am happy for her but you know I just saw the benefits I was getting. In-laws are beneficial you know." he said and I know he was smirking.
"Okay dad, bye." I said and hung up the phone and opened Kevin's chat window.
"See you soon."
