My key didn’t work in the front doors to my mom’s office today. I thought the lock was frozen, but then I noticed the eviction notice on the door. It was a different looking one this time.

The worst part is that my food is still in there! In the little fridge. But at least I have Viros (my laptop) and Little Annie (my doll) with me and nothing else inside really matters, except maybe change of clothes. They can take it all. I wonder what my mom’s going to think.I wonder where she is.

I hung out at at the 24 hour donut place overnight and ordered a coffee. They have free wifi here and if you buy something like a coffee you can sit around with it as long as you like. At least the overnight staff don't seem to care. It was a warm place for the night anyhow. The next day I was exhausted.

I fell asleep in two of my classes. Good thing nobody cares what I do, it’s like I’m invisible. I don’t need a special ring like in The Lord of the Rings to be invisible, it's a natural gift. Sometimes it’s useful to be invisible.

I wonder though, if I was popular, would my popular friends take me into their homes? Let me sleep over and eat supper with them until my mom returned? Or would they send me to some family services place and put me in a foster home? Where the counsellors would make me go to a psychiatrist and give me all sorts of pills, like my mom takes. No thanks. I think it’s better for me to stay under the radar for now. Which means I need to keep up my studies to satisfy the teachers, so they don’t meddle in my life. Good thing I don’t mind studying at the public library. I can 'study' there until it closes at 9 pm… and maybe get in a few hours of sleep on one of their comfy chairs :D
