I used to have many regret
I used to hate my past,
Hoping these days of insecurities wouldn't last.
I used to think I was so unlucky
And all my bad habits had stuck with me.
My future didn't look bright,
Especially since inside me, there was no fight.
Then one day a thought came into my head,
And suddenly all my evil was dead.
All I wanted were things to be different.
Instead, all my past memories became distant.
My regrets faded, so unimportant.
My future no longer distorted.
My fate was clear.
I no longer had to live in fear.
All my resentment began to fade
Because I realized for me you were made.
I guess everything has really happened for a reason; it's true.
All my mistakes have led me straight to you.
