i put my phone on charge and get in the shower. i then put on some leggings and a white tee and my adidas trainers. i leave my hair out and put on some makeup.
i haven't really seen johnny in a long time— well of course i see him around school but we don't even look at each other. i look at my outfit and think twice about it but then i shrug it off. our childhood place is comfy and indoors so it doesn't really matter.
i grab my phone and a jacket and then tell my mum im going out. "ok see you later be back by 9:00" she yells from the kitchen.
it's only a five minute walk so i got there pretty quick. me and johnny haven't been here in so long that it was so dusty. i switch on the light and start dusting the dirt. i sit on a spinny chair and start singing a really old song that me and johnny made right here.
"when you close your eyes,know that i'll be there with you,when your happy inside know that i feel it too.when your caught in the tide know that im here to save you.cause you're always on my mind,all day and night–" i start singing to myself but i then stop as i hear a voice. "you still remember it" i look back and see johnny! i smile and run up to hug him.
"so glad we are friends again" i say still hugging him. "me too" he hugs me tighter. once we break apart we sit on the sofa and start looking at old videos and music videos that we filmed until really late.
"oh my days john it's 9 o'clock" i sit up "oh shoot i need to be home" he says.
we get up and start walking home. we live near but we pass by my house first. "i really loved hanging out with you today kenz" john says. "me too john" i blush. "talk to you later" he opens his arms and brings me into a hug. "bye" i smile and head inside.
i head up to my room and think about me and johnny. my thoughts get interrupted when maddie comes into my room. "um why are you smiling like a dork" she says "oh no reason" i blush. "anyways can i borrow your headphones mines are at lilias house" she asks "oh yeah sure" i say reaching over and grabbing my headphones and i throw it at her. "thanks" she says before leaving.
i lay back on my bed and go on my phone,on instagram and i see a picture that johnny posted. i smile it's a picture from earlier on i double tap to like it and then comment lovedhangingoutwyoutoday💘
