chapter twenty:

text message from johnny💙

johnny: kenz i need you asap

kenz: what is it john!
kenz: ur scaring me

johnny: im moving back to canada

kenz: what?
kenz: u got to be joking
kenz: when?

johnny: tomorrow morning
johnny: me & lauren only found out today
johnny: my parents wanted it to be a 'surprise' but i don't want to go & neither does lauren

kenz: i can't believe it

johnny: neither can i
johnny: what am i going to do without you

kenz: idk john
kenz: can i come over to say goodbye

johnny: yea sure

mackenzie's pov:
i put on my shoes and run so fast to his house with tears running down. i can't believe one of my bestfriends and myy boyfriend,my everything is moving & leaving me. i love him so much and i'll miss him ever so much.

i reach the orlandos household and knock on the door. "oh kenz what's wrong" their mum says as she sees my tears.
"she knows mum" i hear johnny say,i push pass and run into his arms and sob even more.
"oh kenz,i'll miss you so much" he says.
"aw we will miss kenzie" his mum says i give her a weak smile and then hug her before going back to johnny.

johnny leads me to room which is now with boxes instead of his normal room that me and him helped paint white when we were like 7. there is so many memories in this room and its all going away.

i look at the boxes and see a box with my name.
"what's inside that box" i ask pointing at it.
"it's for you" he says

i walk up to it and open it,it was full of his hoodies i smile but with more tears pouring down.
"i'll wear them everyday" i say
he smiles and just hugs me.
"you don't understand how much i love you kenz,im going to miss you everyday and i will wait for you and we will follow our dreams and get married" he smiles. i just nod and hug him tighter.

after i help him pack a little we sit on his mattress since his dad took his bed and we watch a movie but i fall asleep on his chest for the first ten minutes.

- 23:45pm -
i wake up to my phone vibrating. i pick it up and see the 'girlies' groupchat texting. i get up without johnny and pick up the phone.

groupchat :

annie: kenz how come you didn't come today

ruby: yea we missed you

jayden: && lauren

nadia: yhh

lauren: she came here because me and johnny are moving back to canada

jayden: what!!

ruby: noooo

annie: kenz must be heartbroken
