CHAPTER 5 OF 'IN JUST 25 DAYS'

I walked back to my house thinking how I'm going to convince my parents to actually let me go to a party.

"Hey" Johnny ran up beside me we are currently on 5th avenue.

"Hi" I said back walking down the street.

"So you ready for that party on Saturday" he asked. I stopped and looked at him.

"Are you crazy my parents are never going to let me go plus I know no one there" I said rambling on.

"You will know me and brynn plus I will introduce you to my girlfriend" he said. That word ' girlfriend' hurts a little.

"That doesn't help the fact that my parents won't let me go" I said to him totally ignoring the girlfriend part.

"Just wait I'll help you" he said winking at me. That's the second person who has winked at me today. I sigh thinking of how I could convince them.

I said goodbye to Johnny and walked in my door. My parents was cooking dinner at the kitchen.

"Hey mom,dad can I ask you something?" I asked setting my bag down next to the door walking over to them.

"Sure sweetie what is it" my mom asked placing a plate of cookies at my seat.

"So there's this party Saturday and I was wondering if I could go" I said hoping they said no. My mom looked at my dad. They smiled at me.

"Of course you can go" my dad said. Why can't they be strict this one time. I grab a cookie and stuffed it in my mouth. I sigh getting off the chair and walked to my room. I grabbed my phone and called Brynn.

"Hey Brynnie I can go to the party" i said walking around the room looking out the window.

"Awesome let's go dress shopping tonight" she said. I rolled my eyes. Me and dresses don't do well together.

"Ok when" I asked laying on my bed looking up at my ceiling.

"Right now meet you at the mall in thirty" she said hanging up. I got up and walked out my room.

"Guys I'm going to the mall" I said grabbing my money and my phone.

"Ok, hey why don't you invite that Lauren girl to go with you she seems nice" my mom said handing me more money.

"Ok I will bye love you guys" I said walking out the the house and across the hall to Lauren's house. I knocked on her door waiting for someone to answer. I heard voices coming from inside. She opened the door.

"Hi" she said smiling.

"Hi I was wondering if you would like to go shopping with me and brynn rumfallo one of my friends" I said. I saw Johnny walking without his shirt on. Man does he look hot with out a shirt.

"Oh yeah I would love to go let me just tell my parents" she said leaving the door open as she ran somewhere. Johnny walked up to me.

"Hey looks like you are going shopping with the girls" he said. I nodded.

"If you want to come that would be awesome. I mean cool" I said looking down. He laughed and I frowned.

"I would love to hangout with my best friend" he said. I looked up.

"Yeah I bet brynn would love to hangout with you too" brynn is his best friend so.

"I was talking about you" he grab his shirt from the chair right beside the door.

"Oh" I felt my cheeks heating up. Lauren came back.

"Let's go" she said and we walked out.

"Race you guys downstairs" Johnny yelled running. Me and Lauren looked at each other. We ran after him. He hurry up and closed the elevator doors before we could even get on. We had to wait until it came back up from dropping him off.

"We could use the stairs" she said shrugging. I nodded and we bolted down the stairs. Since we are on the seventh floor it took us a while. Soon we open the door it hit someone. I stopped and covered my mouth with my hand.

"I am so sorry Johnny" I realize I just hit Johnny with the door.

"It's fine" he said rubbing his head. I bent down looking at the red spot on his head. I slowly leaned in and kissed the spot where the door hit him.

"Thanks kenzie" he said smiling.

"I really am sorry about hitting you in the head" I said apologizing for the thrid time.

"Mackenzie like I said it's fine" he said. I nodded standing up. I reached my hand out, he grabbed it and I pulled him up.

"Ready to go love birds" lauern asked standing there.

"Lars you know I have a girlfriend who is also your best friend" Johnny said.

"Plus I don't like anyone" I said. I saw Johnny face dropped into a frown. We decided to get a taxi instead of walking to the mall. When we got there we saw brynn waiting for us.

"Hey sorry we had a little accident" Lauren said looking at me and Johnny.

"I don't think I wanna know let's just go" she said grabbing our wrists and dragging us in the mall. I cannot believe they convince me to go dress shopping. They dragged me to the nearest dress shop and threw a dress at me.

"Try it on" lauern Said. Johnny looked bored out of his mind. I look at it. It was sliver skin tight dress. I went into the dressing room and put it on. It went to my middle of my thighs. I like it so much. correction I could like it so much. If I wasn't so self confidence.

"Mackenzie are you done" Brynn yelled.

"Yes I'm" I said they pull the curtains open and their mouths dropped.

"Yes but you can't let Johnny see it" Lauren said I raised an eyebrow at her wondering why it's not like me and him like each other he has a girlfriend for crying out loud. They left me alone to take off the dress and put it in the bag.
