CHAPTER 17 'IN JUST 25 DAYS'

I ran out of the hospital realizing that
I have no clue where I'm at. I yelled in frustration. Johnny could be dead and I let him go after him with out even telling him I love him back. Whoa I love someone. Someone loves me. I mean maybe I like him but I don't know about love.
I wonder throughout the streets of new York trying to find some sign of him. I finally gave up and found a near by bench. I sat down putting my head in my hands. What am I going to do. I sigh thinking of plans. I still need to go to the empire state building but that's so far away. I picked myself up and walked to my house. I opened the door hanging my head low.
"Welcome Mackenzie" I heard someone say. I look up seeing him, my stepfather with someone behind him looking like they were tied up.
"Get out" I said in harsh tone.
"No, But I do got a nice surprise for you" he said I raised my eyes brows. He moved and there was Johnny and maddie tied up together. My eyes started to burn because of the tears.
"Let go of them" I said to him.
"No"he said I got mad and grab a kitchen knife. He reached out and grab a gun.
"Better watch it one wrong move and they are both dead" he said putting the gun to Johnny and maddie head. Maddie was crying. Johnny looked like he wanted to pee his pants.
"Stop they didn't do Nothing" I said looking at him in the eyes.
"Aw does my little kenzieboo actually care about them especially Johnny" he asked with amusement look on his face. I raise my eye brow at him.
"Johnny was in on my plan this entire time" he said smirking. That's when my heart official shattered into a million pieces.
