Today Zach comes home for Christmas. I'm excited but I just hate this holiday after what happened 2 years ago. No one knows about it besides my older sister.

I walk downstairs and I see Reese playing with her toys.

"You look so pretty" I say to her. She smiles and looks up "why aren't you wearing a dress" she says pouting "I don't like dresses or skirts" I say laughing. She shrugs it off and keeps playing.
I run out into the kitchen and jump on my dads back. "Hi!" I yell and he says "Laura? What the hell." We both laugh. "Ya know JD Herron you're short" I run away before he comes for me. I go into the dining room and see my mom putting on the table cloth. "Need help?" I say. She nods
While we were putting on the table cloth I get a text
Zach💙✨ - I'm landing in 10 minutes
I screech. "Mom Zach's Landing In 10 minutes" I jump up and down. She smiles "Let's go pick him up" she yells picking up her keys. I run past them and they all come out laughing.
"What are you a track star?" My dad says. "Well I was the fastest in the school district according to my Track Medals" they all open their eyes wide. "You didn't tell us" he says hitting my leg "sorry" ___________ Dallas Airlines ___________
We walk over to Zach's gate and I stand there. Well I couldn't stand still, I was jumping all around and my dad was laughing at me "We need to get you checked" he says shaking his head. I laugh.
We see people coming out of the doors and I wait until I see Zach. 2 minutes later I don't see him. Then I do. I widen my eyes and I scream "over here" he laughs. He runs over and hugs everyone. I wait there anxiously. "Hurry up. Slow poke" I yell. He laughs and hugs me
