Betty and I were laying in my bed again, when I realized the time.
"Betty! It's 6:30. We have to be at the White Wyrm in 15 minutes!" I was so worried about whatever I had to do, and especially about Betty. If she was involved in this, getting hurt, anything I would blame myself.
"Jug, what if you get hurt?" Betty said, worry in her eyes. "I promise, I won't babe." I rarely used the word babe, but she liked it when I said that.

We arrived at the white wyrm and there were four cars parked outside, and of course, two motorcycles. Betty was walking slowly and holding on to my arm. I could tell she was afraid of this place. After all, a murder was committed here.
"Jug, I don't think I can do this. I'm not that great at-" Betty said, fast. "You can and you will. I promise I will keep you safe from whatever will happen here." I tried my best to comfort her.
"Jones." Oh no. It was Toni Topaz. What the hell is she doing here?
"Toni, why are you here? Don't you think that you've ruined our relationship enough?" That wasn't me. That was Betty. Betty doesn't like Toni, but I didn't think she would take it this far.
"Hey, Betty. It's okay, I was just Jug's rebound. You can leave me alone," now Toni was taking it too far.
"Wh-what?" Betty had said. "Jug, is this-" Betty was nearly crying.
"True? Yeah, definitely," Toni was being extremely harsh. "Toni, just leave it," I said.
"No, jug. I'm just gonna go. This isn't as simple as you think," Betty said as she was walking away.
And that, my friends, is how I lost probably the only the person I really cared about, my girlfriend.
