(Note: This will be in Deku's POV.)

I didn't have a "good" start to life. I was born deaf, and to add to it born quirkless. I couldn't interact with many people, and I couldn't be a hero. How nice.

It could've stayed that way if I didn't hold onto All Might's leg as he went into the air. I remember not knowing what to do once we landed. I wanted to talk to him, but I couldn't. To my surprise he knew sign language. I left without a satisfying answer, and walked down the stairs of the building. I still have the burn marks on my arms and ankles when I rescued Kacchan. It was terrifying, but that's what got me my quirk.

That's how I got into U.A.

I went how I imagined it to be. The Entrance Exam horrifying as I thought. I couldn't hear anything, how was I supposed to hear the robots?

That just left me with my sight.

I was running when I ran into a girl crushed by the rubble. She needed help. She looked at me wide eyed as I sprang into the air, leaving her hair going wild. Using the power I inherited felt surreal, and the punch I gave the robot added to it. The fall was the cherry on top, but she reached out and saved me.

She returned the favor.

When I took an actual look at her, she looked very pretty, with coca hair that matched her eyes. She had cuts and bruises on her face from the rubble, but even with that she was beautiful.

I saw her in the classroom again too. She was as beautiful as I remember, and she looked really really good in the school uniform. My face turned red as she was...imitating my punch? I couldn't read what she was saying, so I just assumed. She was disappointed when I didn't answer her, and guilt filled my stomach.
-------

She talked to me even after I said I was deaf. She was way way prettier up close. I had to look away multiple times to hide my growing red face.

I want to talk to her more.
