Ochako doesn't understand, really.

Her heart couldn't stop beating the whole way she walked home. Every time she moved her legs to walk, she can hear her heart clear as day. When she tries to clam it down, she almost looses her balance and almost falls flat on her face. She thinks it's a fever. She was holding a sick person's hand. The thought makes her run straight into a pole.

She's unfazed and simply walks around it after she collided with the metal. Her pupils are dilated and her face is beet red, and her heart runs faster than ever. She probably is getting sick. "Stupid Midoryia". She thinks.

She finally gets home and drops everything once she gets inside. She walks mechanically to her room and closes the door. She lets out a sigh and slides into her chair and turns on her laptop. She types in the things that have been happening.

"Fast heartbeat. Sweaty palms. Red face. Dilated pupils. Trouble breathing. Face becoming hot".

She stares at the things she typed in and laughs a little. "Ridiculous", she thinks.

She presses enter on the keyboard and her eyes process the links and info on the page. She squints her eyes at the results. "How to tell your crush you like them?" She says aloud. Huh? She's pretty sure she has a disease, and it comes up with this? She's beyond confused. She clicks on a random link, ("How do I tell a freind I like them?) and scrolls down the page. Her eyes only looking for the important information.

She sighs when she finds nothing, and thinks it's best to just read from the beginning.

"Have you ever had sweaty palms when they're around?"
She nods.
"Has the air gone hot when it's freezing cold?"
She nods again.
"Has your heart decides to race marathons around this person?"
She nods. Vigorously.

"Then you're in love!"
Her heart stops for the first time today.
She looks at her hands and stares at them for a while. She's in love? With who? She knows no one else who made her feel this wa-

"Midoryia".

She nervously closes her hand and stares blankly at the screen. She likes Midoryia. Now that she thinks about it, she does like him, a lot. Was this oblivious to her own feelings? She laughs. She's ridiculous. That's why she felt happier after seeing his gummy smile that one rainy day. That's why she felt so nervous when he asked to hold her hand. That's why her stomach is always filled with butterflies when their hands find each other's on the table. That's why she melts when she finds out his hands are softer than let on.

She loves him.
And she's okay with it.
