Um, hi guys... I'm so sorry it took so long. I get so easily distracted and I don't particularly enjoy this book anymore. It wasn't supposed to get popular. I think I first started writing it when I was 14. It was like a guilty pleasure book. I craved the fluff, but it didn't really have a storyline. It's very badly written and it kills me everytime I read it.

But I'm trying to get my stupid books a bit less stupid for you guys. Love you all! Happy reading!

"Teddy?" I look up from my cookie dough to see Theodore gazing down at me already.

"Hmm?" His brown eyes sparkle with warmth. Sitting next to the bowl on the counter, he occasionally steals a finger full of chocolate chip cookie dough.

Causally, I drop another glob onto the cookie sheet and slide the full tin into the hot oven. "I never saw you at school before this year, did you just move here?"

My parents went out for a few minutes before Teddy arrived. I thought they'd be here when I invited him, but they decided to run to the store.

They've been gone for about an hour and we are getting ready to watch a movie.

Initially, the reason for his coming over at all is a school project. However, the project was really small and we completed it in about thirty minutes.

Nate's at one of his friends' house for the weekend and I figured there was no rush for Teddy to leave.

Besides, I kinda want Mom and Dad to meet him, if he's gonna keep following me around, that is.

We've only known each other for about a week, but it feels like we're old friends. And yet, I know almost nothing about him.

Slowly scooping out another overly large chunk of dough, he ponders his wording before he replies, "I'm an exchange student from Montana."

My stomach drops and suddenly, I don't feel like eating cookies, or anything for that matter. "When are you going back," I ask quietly, finding the countertop quite interesting.

Pausing with the cookie dough halfway to his open mouth, he sighs and eats the dough before hopping off the counter and washing his hands in the sink. "Bunny..."

"Yeah?" I look up at him, silently hoping that he'll be in Ohio for a while yet.

A dark shadow crosses his face and he steps towards me, popping my personal bubble like he's done since day one. "Don't worry about that. It's a very long ways off."

But he has to go home. He can't just stay here forever, how long am I supposed to just 'not worry' about it? He's going to go and leave me here and I can't help but feel a bit abandoned at the thought. I don't want him to go, which concerns me greatly.

Since when did I get so attached to him? This isn't like me.

He should go. He should go right now and reunite with his family. Otherwise, I don't know how difficult letting him go will be.

Biting my lip, I step away from him and peek into the oven at the cookies. Almost done.

"Hey," he mutters, his deep voice melting me like butter, "What's wrong?"

Excellent question, too bad I don't have an answer.

Suddenly, I hear a car door slam shut.

"That must be my parents," I say, dodging his probing eyes. "I wonder if they need help carrying the groceries."

Jumping to the task, he gives me a look that says he isn't finished with the conversation and walks out the front door.
