Sofia lead Amber to her room where Clover and Whatnot were waiting for her.
"Princess?! Whats Amber doing here?" Clover asked confused.
"Ok Amber. Are you ready?"
"Yes!"
"Ok Chrysta called me when I woke up. She told me Prisma was on her way to stealing Jafars Staff." Sofia paused.
"What?! Whose Prisma? Who is Crysta?" Clover asked at once.
Sofia didnt answer, but kept her eyes on Amber.
"Another Wicked Nine object? Where was it located?" Amber asked at once.
"In Kauldoon"
"Kauldoon? " Amber asked at once.
"Yes, and I got to talk with Maya and Kalid. With their help, we were able to stop Prisma. But, it was a close one." Sofia concluded.
"At least Prisma never got Jafars staff, but Sofia, she has a Nessi-key." Amber pointed out.
Sofia sighed, "This is what makes being a Protector so hard."
Just then Sofias door opened to reveal Miranda holding a book. "Mom!"
Quickly Clover and Whatnot disapleared behind Sofias wardorbe
"Mother, how are you?" Amber asked.
"Ill be ok Amber. I need to talk to Sofia alone, if you dont mind." Miranda smiled faintly.
Amber nodded as she left the room.
"Sofia." Miranda smiled at her daughter.
"I cant believe I forgot the day these last two two years!" Sofia exclaimed bursting into tears.
"I know, I was distraught too. Why do you think I refused for anyone including you to see me?" Miranda asked leading Sofia to sit on her bed.
"I returned home." Sofia replied.
"I know, I saw you. He would be so proud of you." Miranda hugged her daughter tightly.
"Sofia?" Clover asked uncertianly as he poked his head out.
Sofia didnt answer. "Whats that Mom?"
Miranda smiled at her daughter as she revealed the cover of the book.
Sofia gasped, "i havent seen this in years!"
"I thought you would enjoy looking at it." Miranda answered as she opened the book.
"More than you know!" Sofia smiled as Miranda slowly turned each page.
"Mom?""Yes Sofia?"
"You didnt tell Dad or anyone else about today have you?" Sofia asked even though she knew the answer.
"I never got the chance to. For the last two years Ive decided not to remind you. You were so busy with school, as the Storykeeper and now a Protector." Miranda explained. "But I see what Ive done was wrong even if it was with good intentions."
"I miss him Mom." Sofia admitted.
