Sofia had just come down to breakfast, when Roland came and pulled Sofia aside.
"Dad, is sonething wrong?" Sofia asked cinfused.
"Why didnt you tell me you were the Storykeeper and a Protector?" Roland asked at once.
Sofia sighed, "Mom told you didnt she?"
Roland nodded. "That story you told yesterday, was the princess you?" Roland asked at once.
"Yes. But remember, Elena had chosen me to wear the amulet. Thats what lead me to be the Storykeeper and later on a Protector. I wanted to tell you, but I was afraid that once you knew youd stop me from continuing on." Sofia admitted.
"Why would you think that?" Roland asked shocked.
"Dad, you had Baileywhick accompany me with the Buttercups. I was afraid that you would keep a guard with me at all times. I told Mom because she knows Im more than just a dainty princess." Sofia explained.
"Sofia, I know Matilda gave you the key. If she knew you were ready for it, who am I to stop you?" Roland smiled.
Sofia grinned. "Would you like to see the Mystic Isles one day?"
"I think we should make it a family trip." Roland agreed.
"When Chrysta contacts me, Ill ask her if all if you can join."
"Thats amazing Sofia!" Amber exclaimed. "Id love to see more of that place!"
"You've been there Amber?" Roland asked surprised.
"Yes, tell me, are the Rompkins being gentle at last?" Anber turned to face Sofia.
"I-" just then her Enchantlet beeped. "A Protectors work is never done." Sofia smiled at herself as she acepted the call.
