A/N : The previous chapter was suppose to be the last portion of "24 Hours With You" but I decided against ending the story there. All of you have been so supportive, kind, and have encouraged me to keep doing what I like to do; write. These extra chapters are a big thank you to you all!!!

To say that Forth was in a bad mood was an understatement.
He was tired, cranky, and upset.
Both him and Beam had been busy with exams and had barely any chance to meet up. He had gotten used to sharing a meal with Beam, going out with him and spending all their free time together. Now, he was missing Beam a lot after being apart for so long.
Today had been the last day of exams for both him and Beam (even before they started dating, Forth always made sure to know Beam's complete schedule) and he was hoping that they would be able to meet soon.
However, Beam had called him earlier explaining to him that his professor had given their class one last task to finish after their exams. So now, they wouldn't be able to meet today like he had anticipated. Instead, their plans would have to be postponed.
He had tried to be mature and understanding with the sudden turn of events because he knew that Beam was also tired and under a lot of stress. For the first few days he had tried to fill up his time by studying, repairing and upgrading his bike, going out and hanging out with his friends, etc. Nonetheless, he felt an emptiness within him without Beam by his side.
He was well aware that he sounded too attached to Beam but nobody could blame him for it. Not when he had spent so much time and effort chasing after Beam. It was only until recently that Beam had made things clear to him and confessed his real feelings to Forth, that he was still having trouble believing their love was real and mutual and not just one-sided.
He had debated pranking Beam's professor for giving him more work after his exams had finished, but quickly discarded the idea after realizing Beam would find no humor in that.
He was currently hiding from the scorching heat under the shade of a tree when he heard some fellow engineering freshmen gossiping. He took out the pack of cigarettes in his pocket and lit one up. Since dating Beam he'd started to cut back because Beam would always complain about the smell and his health. Under any other circumstances he'd forgo smoking, but right now, he was frustrated and annoyed.
"I don't understand what his problem is recently. Sure, I understand that he needs to be strict and expects a lot out of us freshmen, but he's been tougher on us than usual."
"I know what you mean. He's been in a bad mood lately. Just yesterday, he made a girl from our group cry. She bumped into him by accident and he made her run around the the race track multiple times. "
"I heard about that. Do you think he's just blowing off some steam now that exams are over?"
"I don't think so. I've heard from other seniors that he's responsible and mature, but now, he seems like a completely different person."
