So much has happened; I embarrassed myself in front of people I barely knew, went to my first party with alcohol, had a mental break down, and got asked to be someone’s girlfriend. Then my thoughts were interrupted by a knock at the door.

“Nat? You hungry? We are going to pick up some Chinese.” Scott asked through the locked door.

“Yeah. I just want sesame chicken and fried rice.” I replied.

“Do you want to go with me?”

“Just you or you and Grace?” ‘That was a stupid question to ask.’ I thought to myself.

“No, just me.”

“Okay, come and get me when it’s time to leave.”

“You got it Nat.”

Now that Scott is gone, I can try to think clearly. Should I be his girlfriend? It’s obviously shows he doesn’t have a girlfriend, yet. If I do become his girlfriend, people would bully more even more. But if I don’t I would regret it and break Scott’s innocent heart. Why does this have to be so confusing? It’s been about ten minutes since Scott ordered so I got cleaned up. I changed into my favorite royal blue top and white jeans that Grace was so kind to get along with my phone charger and computer.

“Nat, you ready?” Scott asked with a happy tone in his voice.

“Yep!”

The ride to the restaurant was a little awkward.

“Umm…I’m sorry for what Aaron said. He isn’t really the nicest but of course he gets all the girls. I didn’t even want him there.” Scott said breaking the silence between us.

“Then why was he there…” I said with a little attitude in my voice.

“My…sister invited him.”

“Why would she do that?” I was kind of starting to not like Grace but I guess she was just being nice.

“They…are…together.” Scott spoke slowly like he was trying to add suspense to it, which got annoying.

“What?” I practically screamed.

We sat in silence until I cooled down.

“Sorry. Why are they together? Do you even approve of him?” I asked Scott.

“Not really, but she is my sister so I have to respect her and her choices.”

“Okay.” That was all I can manage to come from my lips.

I remained quiet for the rest of the way there and back.

“I’m so glad you guys are back. I’m starving.” Grace said from the couch.

I barely talked during dinner, which I guess worried Scott and Grace. It’s almost 8:30 and my mom was going to be here soon. I gathered my things I had and sat quietly on the couch.

“All set?” Grace asked.

I still wasn’t into talking right now so I just nodded.

“You can come over anytime. You are always welcome not matter the time.” Grace put her hand on my shoulder.

Soon after a knock came to the door, it’s time to face whatever consequences my parents are going to have for me. Just kill me now.
