Chapter 28

-Next day-

Jacky's POV.

I was finished cooking breakfast, with the help of Alex. She watched as I added different things to the plates.
I made her and Andrew a small bowl of grits, making me and Alli a plate with bacon, eggs and grits.
Alli walked in the kitchen with Andrew crawling in between her feet and stopped once he found a toy that was laying on the floor.
I sat Alex in her high chair and gave her the bowl. I handed her a spoon and she held it and closely examined it.

I smiled and moved her hand to the bowl, so that the food would get on the spoon.
She moved it to her mouth and ate it, smiling as she kicked her feet.

"You did it!" Alli cheered behind me holding Andrew.
I smiled and watched as she fed herself for the first time.
"Now it's your turn lil dude," I said and grabbed him from Alli.

I set him in his high chair and gave him his bowl, along with a spoon.
He stuck the spoon in the grits and dumped it on the tray.
Alli laughed and he looked over at her.
"You gotta eat it buddy," she said and he picked up the spoon, trying it once more, and ate it.
"Yay!!" Alli cheered and he giggled.

I smiled and walked over to the plates I made for us and set them on the table.
Alli grabbed two forks and sat down with two mugs of coffee.
I fixed two sippy cups with apple juice and handed it to them.

I sat beside Alli and kissed her head, we ate and watched the food went from the twins bowls to their face and clothes.
"They're trying so hard," Alli giggled at them and Alex looked over at her. She had grits all over her forehead and in her hair.

Alli's POV.

We all finished eating and I grabbed Alexandria out of her high chair to go give her a bath while Andrew ate more food and Jacky cleaned up.
I ran the water and added bubbles.

I undressed Alex and she starred at the bubbles like it was the most beautiful thing ever.
She always did that, she has a thing with bubbles lol.

I sat her in the tub and she slapped the water, causing it to go everywhere.
"Hey now!" I said and she giggled. Only to do it again.
I finally got to wash her, she was almost down when Jacky walked in the bathroom holding Andrew up but his hands as he stomped his little feet.

"Go to mommy," he said and Andrew started crawling over to me, "Mamamama" he said as he reached me.
I chuckled and took off his diaper and shirt.
I sat him in the tub and he just looks at Alex for a while, then looks at me. Once he looked back at her she threw a rubber duck at his face. He screamed at her and she started crying.

I heard Jacky laugh as he walked out of the bathroom.
Minutes later they were cleaned and Jacky came back with two diapers and two towels.
"They done?" he asked and I nodded.
"Good luck getting them out." I said and sat on the counter as I watched Jacky as he tried to get their attention.
After a good while of them ignoring him he looks over at me, "Help?" he said quietly and I chuckled.
I grabbed a towel and Alex looked at me and stood up, holding on to the side on the tub.
She reached out for me with one hand, I picked her up and handed her to Jacky.

He cut his eyes at me playfully and grabbed a diaper; walking into our bedroom.
I laughed and grabbed Andrew, I let the water drain out and grabbed the other diaper, I turned of the light and laid him on the bed in our bedroom.

I put his diaper on and he crawled over to Alex, She went to hug him but knocked him down to he crawled away.
She looked at me like 'the fuck was that for?' and Jacky laughed. I got up on the bed, going to my side to the twins wouldn't fall off. Jacky laid on his side of the bed and we stayed there for awhile.
