Chapter 31

-1 week later-

Alli's POV.

Today we were going to the hospital to get an x ray done, the doctor called about two days ago and to him I seemed to be healing fast. He wants to make sure everything's okay so he made me an appointment.

I can bend over and pick up the twins, wash clothes and vacuum. I can basically do everything I used to do. I went grocery shopping yesterday and Andrew tagged along. Jacky was very hesitant at first and wanted to go with us just in case things got bad. I told him there was no need too, I'm fine now.

I think my ribs are okay to be honest.

I'm also finally..well...kinda cooking. Jacky's been doing nothing but cooking for me. I appreciate everything he's doing for me, it means so much to me.

"Alli, are you ready?" Jacky called out from the living room. I finished spraying on the hairspray and turned the lights off. I walked to the living room, "Yeah, let's go." I said and walked over to him. He was putting Alexandria in her car seat, she was getting fussy, she clearly didn't wanna be buckled in.

I grabbed their diaper bag from the coffee table and walked over to the front door, unlocking it as Jacky walked out carrying the twins car seats. I locked the door behind me and we got into the car and drove to the hospital.

"You nervous?" Jacky asked as he pulling into the parking lot. I shrugged, "Not really." I said and looked over at him. He smiled and leaned over to kiss me. I smiled and opened my door hopping out. I grabbed Andrew's car seat while Jacky grabbed Alex and the diaper bag.

We checked in and waited in the waiting room for a nurse to call my name.
Jacky said he'd wait in the waiting room while I go back.
We waited for what seemed like forever, which was only 25 minutes.
The twins have already fell asleep in their car seats.

"What do you wanna do after this?" Jacky asked. I shrugged, "Whatever you feel like doing?" I said and he smiled.

"Allisandra Vincent?" A nurse called out. She spotted me and smiled, she was my nurse while I was in labor with Alex and Andrew. She made sure I got everything I needed. She's an amazing nurse. Her name is Sophie.

I stood up and walked down the halls with her as she asked questions like, How have you been? or How are the twins? or How is Jacky? I answered them all and we made a few jokes while entering the room for the x rays.

"Hello, Mrs. Vincent! My names Dr. Edward." he smiled.
"Hi" I smiled back as he told me to sit up on the bed. He then listened to my heart rate and we began with the x rays.

Jacky's POV.

It's been about 25 minutes since they took Alli back.
I got a call from Ron asking if I could be in the studio today, I said that I'll be bringing Alli and the twins with me if she was up for it and I heard everyone cheering in the back.

I was currently reading some magazine when Alex started crying. I looked down at her and she was already looking at me and pouting her lip, tears flowing her little eyes. I reached into the diaper bag that was in Alli's seat and took out her bottle, I poured her formula in the bottle and shook it up. I grabbed her from the car seat and held her in my arms as I fed her.

She downed the bottle in less that five minutes, she looked happy now. I sat her up in my lap and patted her back. I saw Alli walking from down the hall to us, she had papers in her hand.

Once she reached us she gave me a kiss, "How'd it go?" I asked and she smiled. "Great, the ribs are healed now." she said and stuffed the papers in the back pocket of the diaper bag.

We walked out of the hospital and hopped into the car.

Once we drove out of the parking lot I told her about going up to the studio.

"So Ron called while you were back getting your tests done," I said and she looked up from her phone, "Yeah? what did he want?" she asked.
"Well I was called to go to the studio." I said and she frowned, "I wanna go!"
I chuckled, "You are going." I said and she grinned, "woo!"

About half way to te studio Ronnie texted me saying, "Hurry up....and bring food!!!!!!!"

We stopped by a pizza place and got three large pizzas, I set them in the back seat and got back in the car.
"Now, to the studio!" Alli said as I pulled out back on the main highway.

Alli's POV.

We finally arrived about 10 minutes later, I called Derek to help us and he came out with Ronnie.

"Where's the damn pizza!!" Ronnie yelled as he walked over to us.
"Doesn't care about his niece, nephew or sister" I joked as I got Alex out of the car.
Ronnie laughed and handed Derek the pizzas, who just walked back inside with them.

He walked over and gave me a hug. "I'm just really hungry, Ryan ate my breakfast and stole my lunch." she said and I laughed.
"Hold her, but don't eat her!" I said and handed Alexandria to him.
He chuckled and held her close to him, "No promises," he said as he started tickling her making her laughed really loud. 

Jacky walked over to me with the diaper bag and Andrew. "Let's go," he said and gave me a kiss. I shut the door and held his hand into the building.

We walked down a few halls and he opened the door for us.
"ALLLII!!!!" Ronnie shouted as he saw me. I started laughing. Ron and Derek pinned Ronnie down and Ryan was in the corner of the room admiring is slice of pizza.

"You okay Ronnie?" Jacky asked.
Ronnie glared at him, "DOES IT LOOK LIKE I'M OKAY?" he yelled as Alex crawled over to him and watched.

"Go eat the pizza," I said and Ron and Derek shot up and darted for the pizza.

Ronnie stayed laying on the floor as Alexandria watched him in confusion. Jacky chuckled and sat down on the couch with Andrew.

Everything was quiet until Alex spoke,

"You okay?" she asked Ronnie and laid her little hand on his cheek. Everyone looked at her, this was her first time actually talking. 

Ronnie grinned, "Yeah I'm okay." she smiled and reached up for him to hold her. she buried her face in his neck.

"Did she just talk?" Ryan asked.
"Yeah..Her first words.." Jacky said.
"I thought she could say a few words?" Ron asked confused.

"She can try and say things, but it doesn't really come out right." I said and sat beside Jacky.

Ronnie was rocking her as she played with his hair. It was really cute.
"He would make a great dad." I whispered to Jacky, He looked over at Ronnie who was now making faces at her. Jacky smiled and nodded, "He would."
