*taneekas pov* I walk through the grove towards my work. I walk into Apple and walk behind the counter. I put on my name tag and serve a few customers. After a few hours I get my lunch break. I grab my wallet and go to the food court. I buy a burrito from chipotle and sit down on my phone. "Dude isn't she the girl that said that you knew her" I look up and see Daniel looking at me Jack was pushing him slightly and they caught my stare. I blush and look down. I scroll through Instagram not looking until I see feet in front of me. I look up and see Daniel. "Taneeka right?" He holds out his hand "I guess" I spit I look away from his hand and take a bite of my burrito. "Why are you so angry?" He sits beside me "Just go away" I turn away from him and grab my wallet and burrito I throw the burrito in the bin due to my loss of appetite and walk back to work. I stuff my wallet in my bag and sit behind the counter. "Hi I would like to purchase the iPhone X" I look up and see a blonde haired boy "Sure. Im Taneeka" I shake his hand "Corbyn" he smiles and then I see Daniel looking over at us "Right this way" I take him to a computer and put in my details. I ask him questions and he fills out some forms. I walk out the back and grab a iPhone X box. I walk to the counter and put in my number and put in the amount. He pays for it and I hand him the phone. "Enjoy" I smile "Hey...Taneeka right?....the boys and I were wondering if you would like to come and hang out with us" Corbyn smiles "I can in a hour" I feel my heart leap out of my chest "Cool we will come pick you up" he smiles and looks at the time "Sure" I bite my lip He waves goodbye and walks out with the boys. Daniel looks back one last tile before heading out the door. "Ooooo who are they" Jessica nudges me "Some guys" I shrug "You know the tall one with the tooth gap" Jessica narrows her eyes "Yeah I have known him for 17 years" I smile "Why didn't you talk to him?" She frowns "I.....hate him....he broke three promises to me when we were 17 and I just have never spoken to him" I shrug "Wow....How?" Her eyes widen "He promised we would grow famous together....the he promised he wouldn't break that promise and then he promised he would come back......he left for tour and never came back....I moved here and then I ran into him in the candy store here" I sigh "You like him don't you" Jessica rolls her eyes "I did....now I don't want anything to do with him" I shrug Jessica nods and walks off to serve a customer. Finally the clock hits 3 and I was let off. I grab my bag and walk out to the parking lot. I see a car pull up and Corbyn pops his head out the window. "Jump in" he smiles I jump in the passenger seat and see Daniel with Jack in the back. "Hey" Jack smiles "Hey" I smile at him and ignore Daniel. "We are meeting with the other boys at the hiking trail" Corbyn smiles "I can't hike in these" I whine "My girlfriend leaves her hiking stuff here so I brought it along...you can change when we get there" Corbyn laughs "Thanks" I smile at him We finally pull up at the hiking trail and I see a short rosy cheeked boy and a tall brown haired guy. We climb out and Corbyn passes me a bag. I go to the toilets and change. I pull on the shoes and tie up the laces tightly. I walk out and see Daniel staring at me.

The clothes were sorta revealing but I ignored him and grabbed my water from my bag. "Ready?" Corbyn smiles "I should probably meet everyone before I walk with you guys" I giggle "Well you know Daniel and Jack and me of course. This is Jonah and Zach....and Logan is somewhere" Corbyn laughs "Right here" Logan jumps down from a tree I nod and we all start hiking. I step on a rock and slip and of course get caught by the one and only Daniel. "Watch where you are going" He spits "Yes sir" I salute to him and climb up to Jack "You okay?" He smiles at me "Yep" I smile and he grabs my hand pulling me up to his level I hear Daniel growl and mutter something but I just ignore him. Jack grabs my hand as I climb up another rock and then I hear Daniel yell in pain. I turn and see him crying and holding his arm. "Stay here I will get him" I pass the bag to Jack and start sliding down the rocks. I land beside Daniel and pull him up. "I'm fine" he pulls away He starts climbing using one arm. I look at the ground and see blood. I tense up and see blonde dripping from a deep gash on his arm. He falls backwards but I catch him and push him up. Jack grabs his good arm and pulls him to flat ground at the top. I climb up and Jonah pulls me up and I walk to Daniel. He was sitting on the ground looking at his arm. I take a shaky breath and rip a cloth out of my bag. I grab my water and drench the cloth. I sit beside him and grab his arm. "Don't touch me" he rips his arm away "Sit still" I spit I press the cloth to his arm and he jerks it away. "THAT HURT" he yells "IT WOULDN'T IF YOU STAYED STILL" I growl "This wouldn't of happened if you just stayed with me" he hisses "It wouldn't of happened if you could control your emotions" I spit Everyone watches us in silence and then I hear someone move. "Stay still" I grab his arm and press the cloth to his arm. He tenses but stays still while I clean the gash. I grab my bag and pull out a bandage. I wrap his arm and stand up. My hands were covered in blood and I felt sick. "I need to sit down" I grab my gut and sit on a rock "You are really pale" Jack kneels in front of me "I feel sick" I whisper "Blood....it's the blood get it off her" Daniel grabs a piece of cloth and wets it. He runs over and starts cleaning my hands. Everyone watches and then Corbyn passes me the water. "Get her a snack" Daniel throws the cloth in my bag Corbyn passes him a bar and Daniel passes it to me. "You remember" I whisper "Yeah....I'm starting to remember" Daniel shrugs "What else do you remember" I take a bite of the bar "The promises" he sighs "Oh" I look at everyone standing around taking photos "I'm sorry" he whispers "Kay" I roll my eyes Daniel clenches his jaw and storms off. "What happened you were bonding" Corbyn sits beside me "He broke three promises in one day.....then disappears for a year and then apologises and thinks I'm going to forgive him. I spent a whole year waiting for him to come back" I sigh "And he never did" Corbyn looks at the ground "Exactly....I spent 374 days sitting on my balcony waiting for him to come back to me. To tell me he got us a place in LA or to say he missed me....but he never did. Not a call or a text message so I came to him.....to of course live my life but to see him again" I look at the view "Because you love him" Corbyn looks at me "Yes" I feel my heart skip a beat Admitting it felt so much better than hiding it. "Why don't you tell him?" Corbyn frowns "I know we have known each other for 17 years but that doesn't make it easier....I have liked This kid since we little and I was too scared to tell him anything. He got with a girl in high school and I got jealous. Got into a fight with her na she broke up with her because he thought she hurt me" I sigh "Well.....maybe try and earn his feelings" Corbyn bites his lip "How....he practically hates me" I put the rubbish in the bag and put my water down "Not if you change for him" Corbyn sighs "I'll try" I shrug We walk around and I find Daniel looking at the view. I walk to his side and he scoffs. "What do you want" "To tell you I'm sorry" I whisper "Too late" he walks off I groan and follow him. "Let's go" Logan smiles I grab my bag and start making my way down. I feel my foot get caught and I couldn't move. "Move goddammit" Daniel growls "I can't my foot is stuck" I groan in pain Daniel jumps down and rips my root out form between two rocks. I scream in pain and sink to the ground. I grab my ankle that was now bleeding. I look at my hands and blood covered them. I take a shaky breath and Daniels eyes grow wide. "DANIEL" Corbyn yells I was crying and then Jack pulls me up "Jump on my back" Logan hops down beside me I climb into his back and leave a blood trail to the car. They sit me down on a seat outside the car and then I see Corbyn yelling at Daniel. "What the hell was going though your head Daniel!? Her foot is stuck I'm just gonna rip it out and hope for the best. God you are stupid" Corbyn scoffs and storms off I look at my ankle and the blood was still streaming out. I grab a cloth and press it to my ankle. I pour water over them and see cuts running down from the top of my ankle to under the bone. I hiss through my teeth as the water stings and put a bandage around them. I look at the blood on my hands and feel my gut churn. "Taneeka you are pale again" Jonah runs to my side and pulls me to my feet "Take me to the toilets" I whisper He helps me limp to the toilets and I wash my hands. He helps me to the car and I see Daniel looking out the window. I roll my eyes and they drives us back to the house.
