*a few weeks later*
*Taneeka's pov*
Its been a few weeks since the car crash. I can't function anymore and everyone is growing worried about me.
"A therapist" Christina finishes a sentence snapping me out of my stare into the abyss
"What?" I mumble
"You need to see a therapist" Christina sighs
"No I don't need to" I snarl
"You are snapping at everyone and not eating!" Christina stands up and her chest rises and falls heavily
"Well is you cared about me you would know to leave me alone" I yell
I storm away from her and run into Corbyn who's eyes are laced with concern.
"Why are you both yelling!?" He grabs me
"STOP IT" I push him away and run out the back door. I sink into a chair and put my head in my hands and start crying.
I'm so stupid for getting angry at them. They are just trying to help.
"GET HER OUT OF HERE" I hear Christina scream
"Christina she is family. We can't throw her out on the street because she is angry. She is broken without Daniel and we can't just put her out into the world without someone to support her!" Corbyn yells
"She isn't family if she treats us this way Corbyn" Christina argues
"She is family. No. Matter. What" Corbyn growls
"STOP FIGHTING" I yell and walk into the house
"Get out of the house" Christina snarls
"Christina stop" Zach yells from the couch
"I'm going" I walk to my room and pack a bag
I could hear Christina banging on my door saying she's sorry and to stay but I ignore her. I open the door and she was staring at me with wide eyes.
"Bye" I whisper and push past her
I walk towards the door but it opens revealing Jack and a worried looking Lexi.
"Where are you going?" Jack frowns
"I don't know and don't care" I push past him and Lexi and start walking towards my car
"TANEEKA WAIT" Christina yells chasing after me
I climb into my car and slam the door closed and start it up. I rev the engine making Christina jump back in surprise. She starts walking back towards the door but I drive away spraying her with dust.
"Where to go?" I smile to myself
I turn towards the beach but then I slam the brakes on. All the sudden I start seeing Daniel's car flipping towards the pole. The screams of people on the sidewalk and in other cars. The screams of people saying call 911 other people running towards his car and the person in the other car stumbles out with blood pooling on his chest. He gets to Daniels car but then sinks to the ground and people scream trying to help him.
"No" I start sobbing
I close my eyes but see Daniel getting dragged out of the car not breathing and bloody. I start screaming trying to get the image out of my head but nothing works.
"Open the door!" Someone starts banging on my door
I push it open and the person pulls me out.
"It's okay T" the voice carries me to the curb while another person drives my car into a park
I sob hysterically into Jack's chest and then Lexi runs over.
"Taneeka are you okay!?" She huffs putting a hand on my back
"He's dead" I sob
"No he isn't T" Jack croons trying to calm me down
"I can't get the image out of my head" I whimper
"What do you mean?" Lexi frowns
"I keep seeing Daniels car flipping and smashing into the pole.....then people dragging him out of the car all bloody and not breathing" I croak
"You need to see a therapist Taneeka...you shouldn't be able to see that...you weren't even there when it happened" Jack sighs
"No okay I'm not going to a therapist!" I push him away and stand up
"Taneeka you need to....you could get yourself hurt if you randomly slam on the brakes in the middle of a road" Lexi chases after me
"I'm going to see Daniel" I whisper and climb into my car
I start driving away and I drive towards the hospital. Tears stream down my cheeks blurring my vision but I finally get to the hospital. I go to his room and sink into a chair. I grasp his hand and start sobbing hysterically. I put my head on the edge of his bed and cry.
"Rose? Why are you crying?"
