Chapter Four-
The air smelled foul like rotting cabbages. How could my dad be stood in the fire place? I was so unsure on what to do. Should I bite him? No, he was probably more stronger than me. Judging by the smell, my dad had got what he wanted, to be a demon. Yet he looked so human. I froze to the ground, I tried to move my legs towards him to touch him to see if he was real, but my legs didn't obey. Mum however moved towards the fire and raised her hand to his cheek but flinched away. The flicker on her face for a moment was a look of disgust.
"Elizabeth, I've missed you so much"
"I've missed you too, but why are you here?"
"I've come to warn you, the darkness is coming and you must prepare for battle"
"Father, are you a de-demon"
"I'm half way there"
With a quick pop he was gone. Vampires never get cold, but ever since he was here I felt freezing. My mum walked over to me and wrapped her arms round me to comfort me. There was a battle coming and I was ready to fight in it never mind leading it. I've seen heaven and the angels, why would I want to fight something so pure and beautiful? I couldn't kill, even if it's in my nature to do so. And how can I lead something I don't want to start, or that I don't know anything about myself. I refused to do it and I could hear my mums careless laugh in my ears that were like ringing bells.
"You're stubborn, just like me and your dad, I can tell you don't want to lead this battle, well sweetheart it's your choice but for now I think we should both go to bed"

The rain was pouring down with rain, I can't believe Lizzy would make me leave her daughter when her daughter needs guidance from her real world. I shouldn't of let her turn me away and not fight. The scene though kept replaying in my head "I suggest you leave" those words felt like acid to me. She didn't just suggest I leave, no she suggested I never go see her or Victoria again. I should've snuck into their house but I couldn't do that, I had a feeling thy Victoria used a spell so I wouldn't get inside without being seriously injured. I sat at one of the quiet coffee shops, sipping my steaming hot coffee. I wasn't aware of a young man staring at me at all until I was about to leave. He jumped up light as a feather and smiled at me. I didn't know who or what he was but I knew he was charmingly beautiful.
"Are you warlock Blaze?"
"Indeed I am, who are you?"
"Just someone who's seen something disturbing"
"And what is that?"
"I can't tell you here, and you won't understand unless you see for yourself"
"I'm intrigued, but not that intrigued sorry kiddo I can't help you"
"Please, it's so serious it could depend on everyone's lives"
I followed the young, mysterious boy to an old theme park. Everything about this place gave me the shivers. I could remember the newspaper reports of a young girl who jumped off the too of the roller coaster at night, or was she pushed I always thought. The young boy was showing me to apart of the fair ground. I shouldn't of followed him, I didn't know the kid and yet I was following him. This could be a trap. But why did I feel safe? The air became colder, the shadows became more pronounced. We continued walking into complete darkness. My footsteps were loud on the wet floor. Ahead of us was more darkness but I could hear something, an excruciating cry. Was this young boy torturing this poor thing? When we were stood opposite the poor thing I didn't know what it was at first. But a quick flash of light showed the shadow. Across it's body were bloody wings, they were't naturally bloody, they were normally a plain white. There was a ring above its head that was supposed to be pure gold but was now rusted. The angel looked ill, scared and unhealthy. I slowly made my way towards the angel and it looked up at me and opened its mouth to scream for help. A piercing sound came out, I could feel how scared he was. Warlock, please, save me, I'm Raphael.
