Chapter 27

Rodger's POV

"Ferret, what's happening? How did she shift is isn't a fucking wolf!" I yelled while passing in my office. Once Ferret arrived he gave Anna something to relax her, since she wouldn't stop howling. She was probably trying to talk, but she couldn't.

"I don't know! I seriously don't, so I'm going to have to do some test on her. This will only take a week to get the results." I nodded finally stopping myself from passing, I sighed while running a hand through my hair. Than I heard my office door open, my daughter popped her head in.

"Daddy? Is Anna okay?" She said in a scared tone, well of course she's scared she just witnessed a fucking WOLF! She's only a little kid and I made sure she'd never see one, since I'm going to retire from being a hunter. I haven't hunted since that guy tried attack Anna, the only thing I want in life is two simple things. My daughter and Anna. Both of them give me happiness, Anna reminds me of my wife I had but she sadly passed when she gave birth to Hazel.

"Yeah, just go to play dolls honey." I said softly, she nodded before walking out. Than I glanced at Ferret who was just standing there. "What?"

"Well, I was thinking. Why don't you time travel to the moment of when Anna was shifting? Maybe there's a clue." Ferret suggested while scratching the back of his neck. I squinted my eyes towards him since he knew when I time travel my body becomes vulnerable, and he is a wolf still.

"Okay, but I'll go to a room guarded since you are a mutt." I spat with anger. Ferret nodded while I walked out of my room. I hope this works.

Anna's POV

"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS GOING ON!" I screamed but again the only thing that came out was a howl. Than just of my horrible luck, Ferret walked in. Why the fuck is he here! I screamed in my head, he made his way toward me. I felt so scared since I didn't know what exactly what was going on, that's when I felt the instinct to run. Run where? Once Ferret made it to my side he placed his hand on my  neck, that's when I saw the needle come into view. "OH HELL NO!" I yelled which came out in a howl.

"Calm down Anna, I'm just trying to help figure out how this happened." He said while bringing the needle to my neck, it was only a few inches away from my neck when I started to lose my vision again.

"Holy shit! I can do this too? Hey Anna, relax I'm going to get you out of this, I just have to figure out how to do this." I hear Cat's voice in my head. It's just like how Jenny talks to me, that's when her words just relaxed me and I felt something come over my body. Suddenly I had no control of my body, like it felt like I was numb from all my limbs but I can see perfectly still. "Okay I've got this, hold on tight Anna, we're getting out of here!" Cat said before I watch as I got off the bed and Ferret looking worried. He was saying things to me but I couldn't hear a single word he was saying, had I become deaf? I'm so confused and worried.

"Anna relax please, Cat will get you out of here. We've been planning this for a while now." Jenny out of no where spoke, I jumped in surprised but what I can see I didn't move an inch. I just started to take breaths before realizing that Cat and Jenny we're working together, because all of a suddenly my whole body turned into a mist. Mentally I screamed so loud from shock and fear but no sounds came out of my mouth, then I noticed Ferret was white as a sheet. That's when the door to the bedroom slammed open and a confused Rodger entered the room, he was looking at Ferret and yelling at him before scanning the room and his face seemed to have sank.

"He can't see us Anna, we are invisible right now. We have to wait for the moment to get out, keep relaxing." Jenny said calmly before I noticed we started moving while Rodger angrily marched over to Ferret, I winced when I saw his fist collide with the side of Ferret's face. I could tell Rodger was probably yelling profanities toward Ferret, but the view of the room was suddenly replaced by complete blackness. "What the fuck!?" I yelled to either Cat or Jenny.

"I took away your sight, don't worry we'll get you out of here. I just don't want you to witness something that isn't pretty." Cat replied before it went silent again, I sighed since I didn't know what to do. "You can sleep, go hang out of my house." Suddenly Cat chimed in which scared the shit out of  me, wait could I really do that? I closed my eyes seeing exactly what I saw before, complete blackness and slowly I saw Cat's house start to form around me. Was I falling asleep?

When the house was fully developed I quickly sat down and tried to figure out exactly what the fuck was going on, I just witnessed my body being a wolf and then turning into fucking mist? What the fuck is going on!? I just want answers, I sighed frustrated while running my hands in my hair. I leaned back in the chair I was sitting in, that's when I breeze past my ear,"Find a field of flowers and you'll find me. I have the answers you want." The words sent a shiver down my spine as well sending me to freak it and jump out of the chair. People need to stop talking to me out of the blue or I'm going to have a panic attack! I rested my hand against my chest trying to slow my heart rate slightly, once I caught my breath I looked outside through the open window.

"Well that was fucking weird, I swear if I go to this field of flowers. I better get the answer I want!" I yelled hoping whoever whispered into my ear would hear. I stood there hoping maybe an answer would come, but nothing came so I just sighed and made my may out the front door. I turned in a complete circle looking around trying to figure what way to go.

"Head North." The voice blew past my ear, this caused me to scream once more and fall on my ass. "STOP DOING THAT!" I yelled while standing back up and dusting off my bottoms, I looked up and noticed the sun was rising from the East side so I looked forward and started making my way forward. I swear if this was a prank I'm going to kill whoever. I walked for what felt like maybe 10 minutes before I saw someone bent down picking flowers, a lot of thought ran through my head. If whoever that is, is not human I'm just going to let whatever it is kill me.

"Um excuse me?" I asked while making my way slowly up to the figure, slowly the figure stood up and turned towards me. That's when I noticed the golden locks fall down the white gown the women was wearing, when she finally faced me I saw how gorgeous she was. "Please tell me you're the voice I've been hearing? If not this is totally awkward." I rushed since I didn't know what to say with such a gorgeous person in front of me.

The women chuckled before replying,"Yes Anna, that was me. I wanted to help you understand what is going on since you seem to feel like you're in the dark, am I correct?" I nodded in response,"Well first off, Anna you must understand that you have been gifted an amazing gift. For being a molder and a werewolf, you have many abilities so many wish to have."

"Well yes the abilities I've notice are nice, but I just don't understand why an I all of a sudden learning everything? Why didn't my mom tell me anything?" I spoke so fast from all the built up frustration, I threw my hands up to over exaggerate my whole situation.

"Anna, your father was a werewolf and your mother is a molder, normally if a mix were to happen in a species such as these. Werewolf genes would dominate the molder, but it seems the two genes got along. For why your parents never told you, I am unable to give you that answer." The women stated and I was going to reply when the most soothing voice came out of no where.

"Hey I'm sorry to interrupt you but do you know where i-" Garret said before going silent when we made eye contact, I saw so many emotion wash over him from joy and relief to lust and energized. I was suddenly grabbed into a tight hug from Garret and unconditional I hugged back, that's when everything came flying back. I was Garrett's mate.
