Chapter Four introducing Garrett Smith

A/n:For anyone who corrects me.. I was reading a fanfiction recently and that's the name they gave him. So I don't own his last name or the characters of twilight.

I am also not writing Garrett's full past but if you read the books or at least fanfiction you know of the past to all characters of twilight.

Garrett's pov:
Some days I really loved the nomadic life. I could go where I want and do or eat as I please. But really the nomadic lifestyle was taking its toll on me. And the days when I wish I was not so lonely I would think about, Carlisle.

Of course it's crazy to think about eating from animals, but to be around humans sounded fun. There's no way I could get lonely.

I know I sound like a walking conduction. I get it. One minute I love being free and the next I don't. But honestly that's just how I feel. Most would say that is the point to the nomadic life. Alone. And they would be right. At least for the non mated.

For many of years I was okay with that. It wasn't until I meet Carlisle that I started to think about what more was out there. He got underneath to heart.

I know what your thinking and no he didn't get me to switch my diet though he has tried many time over the years. I'm talking about the other things like love.

But even then my didn't really change.

Things didn't change until I meet a cocky and sexy vampire by the name Peter Whitlock. He had just said goodbye to his mate. His gift telling him that the Major needed to follow the physic pixie. Alice from Carlisle's coven.

But what I found out from him is that the Major and him where mates. Though it was kept under wraps and that me and an human where both mated to them. It was a total eye opener.

Me and Peter traveled around for awhile. Making me happier than I've been for a long time. But I still felt like something was missing and said my good bye to Peter.

That's where he found me a few weeks ago. He said it was time to come together. Our mate was ready to know all about us.

After that he left me to go get get things ready whatever the fuck that meant.

Now I was wondering around Canada when I felt the mating pull calling out so I take off running towards it.

My phone starts ringing when I'm close to the border.
—————Phone call———————
"Hey Captain."

"Hey Gar. Listen where are you." Duh dipshit. You called me. Shouldn't you know where I am. At least that's what I wanted to say

"I'm north. Canadian woods. Why?"

"I'm about two hours away. Listen you and I are going to Forks, Washington. We are going to meet up with Jasper and Emmett first then we are going to meet with out mate." He sounded urgent. I was starting to get a little worried.

"I knew this day was coming but why now? What do you know Peter?" He better not be his cryptic self. I needed answers.

"All I know is that Jasper is going to try and hide our mate from our truth. It's important that she knows. Those other Cullens are going to cause issues. She's not safe. I'm on my way stay where you are. I'll tell you more once we get to Jasper." Well shit.

"Okay Peter. See you soon" here I go.

With that we hung up. And two hours later we were standing outside the Cullen house ready for whatever. I always did love a good fight.
