Kennedy hid in the bathroom away from everybody else as she felt the change trying to force itself out. Something was very wrong right now and she didn't know what it was. She could smell something rotting and the smell was attracting her. Kennedy walked out of the bathroom and ran into Violet.
"Are you okay?" Violet asked when she saw that something was off.
"No, I'm not." Kenney replied. Suddenly, she could hear the freaks screaming. She pushed past Violet as it seemed to get louder.

In the teacher's lounge, Barrett was sitting on the couch when Diesel came charging in and scared him.
"Jesus, Diesel, warn a person." Barrett said as he shot up.
"It's these freaks, man, they're acting freaky." Diesel said as he walked up to the window. He turned back to Barrett. "This freak, it didn't even try to bite me. It just kept going, like it didn't even know I was there. And it kept making this noise man."
"They always make noise."
"No, it's not a normal snarl, it's a different noise."
"Okay, did you kill it?"
"Yeah, it was trying to get to a different part of school, and I hit it, and it just kept going...like it didn't know I was there." Kennedy suddenly stumbled into the room and fell to the ground. Diesel and Barrett hurried to her side. There were more veins appearing on her face and now her arms.
"What that hell is going on with her?" Barrett asked as he looked at Diesel. "I thought she wasn't gonna change."
"I don't know what's going on with her and she doesn't either." Diesel helped put Kennedy on the couch and they walked out. Diesel had no idea what he was going to face.
----------------------------
Kennedy started to twitch as her body seized. She squeezed the couch cushion and gritted her teeth as something started to take over. Kennedy did everything she could to stop whatever it was but all the emotions she had been going through made it hard.
"You need to fight it." Her dad's voice said.
"I can't." Kennedy replied as she continued to seize.
"If you don't, you put them all in danger. You don't wanna hurt Diesel."
"I can't." Kennedy suddenly stopped moving. Her eyes shot open, and they were hazed over. She sat up and smelled the gangrene in LaShawn's leg. Kennedy stood up and walked past her father's ghost as she walked into the hallway. She followed the sound to the hallway where Diesel was trying screw more wood to the door. She hid when the other two came to help him.
"You know you don't want to this." Kennedy's father's voice said again. "You need to fight the it." Kennedy fought herself inside and finally, the screaming stopped. Kennedy breathed deeply but she could still smell it.
Diesel, Violet, and Barrett walked into the hallway to give Zoey some time only to see Kennedy standing there. Diesel could see it in her eyes. She growled quietly as she looked at them. She took a step towards them.
"Kennedy, stop." Diesel said, causing her to stop in her place.
"She turned." Barrett said, causing the group to get fearful.
"No, she wouldn't have stopped if she did." Kennedy stepped towards them again. Diesel moved in front of Violet and Barrett. "Listen to me. I know what you're feeling right now but whatever is going on inside of you isn't in control, you are." Kennedy growled quietly again. "You're hurting right now. I know that, but please, don't let this control you. I can't lose you. We can't lose you."
