chapter 6: pool party                                                                        Taylors POV

the first week of school passed easily. everyone seemed to enjoy beccas company, which is good as soup. chicken soup.  a couple of people had gave her odd looks about her looks and attitude but she didn't give a shit. so people had just given her a friendly smile and got on their lives. the popular table had welcomed becca happily, without a problem. instead of sitting there with harry occasionally, i now sat there more often, as they welcomed me just like they did to becca.

it was saturday when we were in my room dancing estacticly around the open space to a song. we sang or more like shouted the lyrics to ourselves, laughing at the same time.

'Everybody getting kind of crunk,

I think some dude just grabbed my junk,

Now I know how Ke$ha must be feelin’,

Bros try to turn me upside down.

I put a keg tap to my mouth,

But that’s okay, I’m dancin’ on the ceiling.

'Cause I’ve got the groove,

I’ll bust a move; just try and stop me.

I feel like dancing tonight,

I’m gonna party like it’s my civil right,

(everybody get kinda awesome).

It doesn’t matter where, I don’t care if people stare,

'cause I feel like dancing tonight.

Somebody call the police,

I think they’re coming to get me,

They say: “You’ve got the right to remain on the dance floor”,

So show us what you've got 'cause you know that you've got more.

I feel like dancing tonight,

I came to party like it’s my civil right,

(everybody get kinda awesome).

It doesn’t matter where, I don’t care if people stare,

Because I feel like dancing tonight.'

we collapsed onto my bed, laughing into fits together after just finishing our mini concert for our neighbours.

'we have got a record deal together, i mean think of the money we could earn' becca  winked and giggled again, playfully pushing me off the bed. hard. quickly regaining myself i jumped up about to slam her when a voice interupted us.

'taylor! your friends are here, i'll send them up.' mum said calling up with her sweet voice she put on when ever we had guests. we could here footsteps climbing the stairs as becca looked to me with raised eyebrows. while she was momenteraly stunned i took the opportunity to tackle her to the floor for revenge.

'hey' she laughed as she struggled to escape my hold.

the door swung open to reveal a huge grin on harrys face with a shocked smile on a shy tai.  they raised their eyebrows at the same time. okay i got what they found weird. a girl who looked not at all and shy around people on top of a confident girl who could defend herself. that would be a very weird sight for me. so i looked up to them and smiled.

'oh hey guys, you wanna go get changed for the pool and i'll be right behind you' i smiled sweetly as if there wasn't a person under me.

they silently made there way out of my room confused and back towards the backdoor that lead to the pool. i swear the only reason they had me for a friend was because of the pool in the back. i'm hoping not anyway. i jumped off becca and went to grab my book and towel each for us for the pool.
