Why you keep crying bro ! At this point i honestly could care less about him and his bull. Kevin i apologize I'm sorry son really. He snatched his hand away. Im fourteen dad i wanted a I'm sorry eight years ago. Charles tried to grab his son hand again but Kevin spit in his face. you disrespectful boy , i raised you better. Man stop your bull the only one who raised me was my moma, and James.

Twins come here, the twins both crawled down the stairs backwards. yes dady they each asked in unison. go get yall book bags so we can do this homework. They were on the last problem till they heard Kevin push the door open with so much force that the twins screamed. boy whats wrong with you. Man just let me be real ight. James held his hands up in surrender , okay we can talk later.

Kevin Alana screamed boy get your but up here slamming doors like its okay. and close the dang on door before i slap you. the twins looked at each other and started laughing. the laughter of the two stopped when James glared at them. Kevin acted as if he didn't hear his mom and went straight for the couch it wasn't long until Alana heavy foot self came stomping down the stairs snatching Kevin up. boy i don't care if you are mad you ain't gone disrespect me or yo dady you hear! Oh you must be stuck on stupid , Alana smacked Kevin upside his head. He raised to his feet about to hit Alana back until James forcefully pushed him back on the couch. boy what the hell wrong with you , you think you grown? you wanna put yo hands on women!

you can put your damn hands on me. is you crazy what the hell going on with you! Kevin looked at James with tears in his eyes. James sat beside Kevin and hugged him, its alright son stop crying okay. Although James wasn't Kevin's real father he treated and respected him like he was his own son. Kevin also considered James to be more of a dad and a fatherly figure to him than he considered Charles as such.

Kevin hunny Alana's sweet voice said , whats going on, you can tell us baby. i-i-i saw dad he out of jail. the twins who were listening to the whole thing looked at each other confused and spoke up to ask who dad was when daddy was sitting next to him. Alana turned her head facing towards the twins. come on y'all lets go upstairs.

Kevin just shook his head fiercely they need to know who they father is he screamed at his mom. She rushed them up the stairs. James sighed son whats going on ? He tried to apologize to me but i wouldn't take his bull. watch your mouth, look Kevin i know your mad but you have to learn how to let go of something's or your going to be bitter. i spit on him to, James glared at Kevin boy thats disrespectful. i would have understood if you would have said i punched him , but spitting on people says you hate them.

Erica was driving to work when she saw this familiar face laying by the curb. dad she questioned, what are you doing here. they just let me out last week and i ain't really have no where to go. Get in the car, she called her job and told them she would be a little late.

Ill go buy you some clothes later just put on this here's a towel the soap in the bathroom and its a extra toothbrush in the cabinet. We going out around two be ready. Erica could hardly support herself and Harmony , but she still had a little saved for emergency reasons.

Mommy who is this Harmony this is grandpa. but i thought grandpa James was my grandpa mommy. they both are sweetie. Charles coughed Erica glared at her father. don't start i can disown you just like every one else did. Charles looked away quickly and walked towards the clothes. and you better not get nothing expensive you better shop off the five dollar rack you think I'm playing.

Sir your pocket is leaking the little boy said. his mother looked up from the cart and just started shaking her head. He looked down and started running towards the bathroom. He had been doing that lately because he was used to peeing on himself. his meds kept that under control but he hadn't had meds in his system since he was at the rehab center. and every so often he would catch himself before it happened.

Whats that smell , harmony if you peed on yourself you going to get a woopen. Erica i can tell you what the smell is but please don't judge me. Harmony baby close your ears for mommy okay. Mommy but i didn't pee-pee , she through a temper tamptrum which caused Erica to hush her up. Girl close your ears ! I ain't had my medication and every so often i pee on myself. Oh well i guess i can put you on my Medicare , but you ain't living off me for free you about to start going back to church and you about to get a job.

Sunday Morning

The church was packed with the minority of Christians. Erica kept telling me i needed go up there. So they could pray for me but i wasn't going. Dad i looked over at Erica who was gesturing her head to the front of the ile. After prayer was over the preacher preached a little. i didn't understand a word coming out of his mouth so i went to the bathroom before i fell asleep. I was having a nice sleep until some dude was banging on the door telling me to hurry up. i acted as if i was washing my hands. I came out glaring at him while he just stuttered out a God Bless You sir. Erica was looking at me like i was crazy. I had saw Alana James and her bratty kids come in. I don't understand how a women could be in love , get a divorce, and re marry in less than a year. Kevin looked over at me and scrunched up his face. I'm happy i still got a child that ain't disown me. I know what i did was wrong but a man still got emotions and feelings just like the next man. I wish you would sit down Erica semi screamed at me. I rolled my eyes when Alan looked over and sat down. After church we went out to eat. harmony kept pulling at my beard while i looked down and smiled at her. Grandad could i get some candy please. Baby im sorry but i have no money. this little girl started to pull me by my beard. i know she thought she was crazy cause everybody saw it coming, i popped that lil girl hand and she through a fit. Erica finish paying for the food and took Harmony by the car and promised her a whooping when she got home.
