Applejack POV~

Rainbow's betrayal twists inside me like a hot knife. It hurts.

I wake up in Soarin's bed, half naked.

He stirs beside me.

"Babe? You awake?" I shake him awake.

He sits up, and I can see his bare chest.

"Yeah. What's up?" I try not to notice how attractive his morning bed hair is and resist the urge to kiss him.

"What does Rainbow have against you?"

He frowns, then he sighs.

"We have a complicated history."

"How complicated? Can you tell me about it?" I rest my head in his lap and he smiles.

"Unfortunately, it is too complicated. I'm sorry babe." He kisses me on the forehead and climbs out of bed.

I frown. What could be so bad about his history with Rainbow Dash that he couldn't tell me?

I sit up in bed and start thinking.

Rainbow Dash POV~

My phone rings. I look at it. Soarin.

I scowl and pick it up.

"What do you want, Soarin?" I growl.

"To ask you out to lunch." He says. "If you aren't busy, that is."

I stare at my phone. Was he serious?

"Actually, I am busy. I'm going to tell my dad today." I frown.

"Oh," he says. He actually sounds disappointed. "Another time then?"

"Why are you asking me out to lunch?" I ask, suspicious.

"Applejack asked about our history." He replies.

I splutter. Applejack?

"Fine. Tomorrow." I say, and I hang up.

I lean against the wall, breathing heavily.

Applejack can't find out about what happened between us. She can't.

I run a hand over my flat stomach. Well, almost flat stomach.

Dad walks into the room.

"Hey, Dash. I got your text. What's so urgent?"

I take a deep breath.

"Dad," I say. "I'm-"

His expression changes. It's dark, scary. I suddenly can't finish my sentence.

"Dad?" I whisper, my voice trembling.

"You," he mutters. "Are an absolute DISGRACE!"

The last word that was a shriek made me flinch.

"I-it wasn't my fault." I stutter.

"No, it's never your fault, is it?" He says, walking slowly towards me.

I was prepared. I had a packed bag full of all my things. All I needed was my phone.

I quickly grab my bag and phone and run towards the door.

I yank it open and run down the street towards Fluttershy's house. It's the only one that Dad doesn't know the address of.

I knock on the door. Fluttershy opens it and frowns.

"He didn't take it well?" She asks.

"That," I say matter-of-factly, walking inside. "Is an understatement."

"So, he didn't take it well?" She asks softly.

"No. Of course he didn't." I make an attempt to pull off my jumper.

It doesn't work. My T-shirt gets caught with it and I flash my bra.

"Oh! Let me help you!" Fluttershy says.

She gently pulls my shirt down and helps me to get my jumper off.

"Thanks." I say.

"No problem." She mumbles.

I look at her, into her gentle teal eyes.

We stare at each other for a while.

"Are you hungry?" Fluttershy asks suddenly.

My stomach growls. Fluttershy laughs.

"I'm going to guess that that's a yes?"

"Uh-huh." I say.

Fluttershy walks off to make some snacks, and I frown.

There is a strange feeling in my chest.
