I didn't Get a Say

Rainy Day

The next day at the beach it had started to pour, it was an indoor day. We had slept in by accident due to the dark sky, the boys didn't bother with changing to humans for the day. Blue and Original had been disappointed that morning. We sat around the table shaving breakfast when they had down caste faces and frowns, I could't look at them so I came up with an idea and shot up from the table and bolted to my room.

Once everything was planned out I made my way back to the living room to find everyone watching TV and the two skeletons were still upset "Here you two go." I handed them a sheet "WHAT IS IT?" Original took it "Clues." I shrugged looked at their expressions as they looked over the paper "WHAT FOR?" Blue glanced at me "I placed some treasure throughout the house, the clues will lead you to them." They gasped in response and took off in a flash Edge had followed with narrowed sockets, mad that he hadn't been invited to the puzzle fun. 

Within a couple of hours the lights had gone out, most likely a power pole being hit. It caused a slight problem for the two innocent Skellies but I handed them flashlights to which they cheered and continued on their way, the others sat in the dark with grumpy looks. At least I assume they were grumpy looks. This was getting trouble some, more work then I wanted to do. I went back to my room to grab some supplies. 

With y hands full and dropping a few items  made my way down the stairs, dropping everything down at their feet "What are you doing dear?" Priest asked with a raised brow "We are making a pillow fort, as well as hanging some of these." I held up some planets that glowed bright colors "no thanks." Red propped his legs on the coffee table "It's ok Red. you just wont get to see the galaxy then." I shrugged putting the planets down and grabbing a few blankets "excuse me?" His tone was dark "I would explain but to little time. So we are basically going to camp. Make a little pillow fort for you and one other since you will be sleeping with some one so good luck." I moved the blankets to make room so we could scoot the furniture "do we get to pick who we sleep with?' Sans voice held a hint of perverseness "Sorta, sorta not. If I let you pick then the majority would pick me." I chuckled "So instead, who ever does the most work and shows they deserve it gets to sleep with me tonight. But to be fair, if Blue finds a treasure before we finish he wins." They all shot up at my words, except for Stretch he stretched (heh) out on the couch and wished us luck. 

Over a few hours  we were half done. My fort was by the back window, all furniture was to the walls and we had a huge space in the center. My fort had the fluffiest blanket to lay on. Over some time I had help from mostly everyone, Sans handed me some pillows, Bara helped me pin the blankets on the chair. Frisk had been helping the treasure hunters and came down to check on us, they went to the kitchen to find no actual food. Turns out Edge had attempted breakfast and failed a number of times and Stretched had to help "Someone is going to have to get more." They looked around "no place is going to be open with no lights." Red snarled with an eye roll "Actually a few places have back up generators so they will have lights." I said sheepishly "I'll be back." I went to the door for my shoes "Where you going babe?" G stood in my way "To get food?" It sounded more like a question "Not alone you're not." I was about to retort but Priest spoke up "Yes, me and G will escort you. It isn't save so late and it is raining. Frisk can you please get us a few umbrellas?" He pointed to a broom closet, they nodded and rain off as they two put their shoes on. I couldn't fight it would be useless.

Once ready we made it out the door, if it had been pouring before it the sky was spilling now. "The nearest store with lights should be a couple miles to the right of us." I looked down at Frisks directions, they had such neat hand writing "Lets get walking then." G grabbed an umbrella and opened it gesturing for me to come under. (I am sure we had more umbrellas but knowing Frisk they pretended we only had 2) I got underneath as Priest opened his and followed us down the drive way.
