~Flashback~
"You want me to what?" I asked as Sans looked at me with a strained smile "make me a promise." He spoke again. This was a first, over the years of resets Sans never asked me for a promise, he never liked making them. "I-I don't know, what would it be?" He shook his head frantic "just promise me, you can't go back on it either." He looked so worn out. Frisk was due to come through the RUINS in about an hour, I warned Sans that it was going to be another genocide. I let out a sigh, a puff of smoke except my mouth as I did so "Ok, I promise." I didn't know what was going on, or gotten into as Sans raised his hand covered in his cyan magic and familiar jars levitate near me.
The souls of the children hovered in jars before being placed right in front of me "What are you doing?" I asked nervously "rewrite this world, erase the monsters and never bring them back." He put his hand back in his jacket pocket looking at me with a frown "i can't do this anymore. i can't deal with papyrus being killed, i don't want to see anyone get hurt again. just erase this world and rewrite it with out monsters. please." He looked up at me, his pin pricks were out, just black void like sockets "Sans... I can't..." "you promised!" He shouted forcing me to take a step back, the silence in the woods was eerie. "I... you're asking me to erase everyone I care about." I tried holding back my tears "i know.... but please." He looked so broken "I need a monster soul to become... powerful enough." A tear rolled down as I looked to the ground "here. It's hard to sustain it, your gonna have to hurry." He pulled a smaller hair out with an upside down white soul I gasped.
It was a monsters soul, it was pulsing harshly trying not to dust "take it." I held it out for me "Whose?" My voice wavered as my hands shook as I tried to grab the jar "doesn't matter." He turned around to leave "Wait!" This was it.... if I did this.... he would never exist. I had to tell him, it's a cliche but I need to get it off my chest so I can move on in the new; monster free world. "I... because I'm erasing everything anyway can I.... do something real quick, will only take a moment." He turned back around, his pin pricks had returned and nodded. "Close your eyes." I clenched the jar to my chest as I walked towards him. Such a cheesy thing to do, I place my lips to his teeth in an odd kiss, it was nice. At least on my end, a few moments before I heard a bop sound and he was gone. Tears streamed down my face as I back stepped over to the jars.
I've wanted to tell him for so long how I felt. I did and don't know if he felt the same or not.
I let the souls out of the jar before letting out the monster soul, they all hovered around me and in a flash of bright light I felt a surge of magic seep into my being as the world was torn apart.
I started with the galaxy, then the planets and moved from the species. Dinosaurs were such cute creature.
~End le flashback~
".... and that's that." I shrugged looking at the skeletons "you expect us to believe that?" Red narrowed his eyes "No I suppose not." I thought allowed "Want to know why I don't have a soul?" That caught their attention on me from that point even Reaper who was falling asleep on the couch lifted his head up with sleepy sockets "It isn't that I don't have one, I actually do." I shrugged "then where the hell is it!?" Red stood up "ENOUGH GAMES HUMAN! TELL US WHAT WE WANT TO KNOW!" Edge shouted from his spot behind the couch.
Currently everyone was in the living room after the fight, they were all healed and waiting for me to explain everything. I started off with the beginning like always, I made a promise to erase the world and rewrite it without monsters, the Sanses seemed ashamed of that fact and confused. The Papyruses where either listening closely or confused but not wanting to say or ask anything.
"My soul is here." I pointed to the floor "Up here." Up to the ceiling "Even outside." I nudged to the window with my head "THAT DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!" Edge toward over me with obvious annoyance and anger "But it's true." I whined "I can prove it if I need to." I crossed my arms with a pout "Please do sweets." G gestured with his hands for me to prove it "Fine, Toby. mere." I waved Toby over, they rose from their spot on the bean bag to walk over to me they knew what was about to happen as I have showed them once before they wrapped around my hand in a tight grip.
With a stomp of my foot the world expanded before dissolving into nothing before little twinkles shined around us slowly. The skeletons cling to the nearest person to them, which honestly was funny, Red and Edge clung to Bara, G and Classic to Stretch Blue clung to the youngest and Reaper just stood there all chill. "what the hell'd you do!?" Red growled out "Calm down." I rolled my eyes as more twinkles came into being before a flash came from below us and to the side.
The sun was dulled down after a few moments and earth was below us "THE FUCK IS THIS!" Edge clung to Red tighter "Just look closer." I waved my hand Toby was looking around taking in the image a form was curled around the earth, it was transparent and changing between colors, it was humanoid and the earth was situated at it's stomach, almost as if it were protected it like a shield "That's my soul." I pointed to it as the skeletons looked with wide sockets "My soul is to big to fit inside my human body, so it doesn't actually show, but it is very much real." I looked them over, they seemed either amazed or freaked out, maybe both as no doubt more questioned flooded their heads. "i have so many questions." Classic admitted as he shook his head.
