Disclaimer: this is a rant on backstage season 2 because I rewatched the season. So spoilers!!!!! Ok then let's gooooo....
Rant 1- WHY DID ALYA OVERRACT SO MUCH ABOUT THE WHOLE BIANCA AND SCARLET LIE! Like dude, your the one who keeps writing songs about others lives. Telling their stories without their permission. Do you know how much it would've hurt to find out that your ex never loved you THROUGH A SONG WRITTEN FOR SOMEONE ELSE!? If you want to write a song about someone's life, do it about yours. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU MESSED WITH MY OTP VANESSA AND BECKETT! You literally told BECKET'S MOM THE DANCE TEACHER THAT HER SON AND THE BEST DANCER LIKE EACOTHER AND KISSED! Like what?! You have no consideration to the people you write about and then call it art?! Can you really blame Bianca, Scarlett, and Myles for worrying about whether you were going to publish another drama for song??
Rant 2- WHY DID YOU GIVE CARLY THE TIN HEART?!! Vanessa... Vanessa 🙄😐🤨 that came from Beckett. YOU CAN NOT JUST GIVE AWAY THAT STUFF!!!! I know you love Carly and your best friends, but giving something that came from your boyfriend is just not ok.
Rant 3- WHY DID CARLY NOT UNDERSTAND WHY VANESSA WAS MAD AT HER WHEN SHE FOUND OUT THAT SHE LIED TO HER! Like you didn't tell her that Cassandra sent the video that got you and your best friend on detention.... What a great friend. Yes you guys set the sprinkler off, yes you got in trouble, but that doesn't mean you hide the fact that you know who sent the video. You only did it because you wanted to be on Cassandra's good side. DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED WITH THE CRAP THAT YOU AND HER ARE A TEAM! Girl, she will back stab you at any minute if she had to. CASSANDRA IS NOT WORTH LYING FOR. Don't even get me started for the other reasons why she didn't tell Vanessa........
