Here comes the nephilim and his beloved faerie~~
[xxxxx]
It was a peaceful morning, the strong scent of petrichor calming down Yoongi's mind and senses as he walked further into the forest.
He's encountered tons of different species before, and avoided the one he doesn't want to associate himself with the most—nephilims. He's considered living a normal mundane life, but he's sure that the council would just track him down. He hated that his parents were a part of the council. He hated that he has to train for years just to make sure he's prepared for battles against the downworlders. He
hated that he had to leave his lycanthrope friend when he was child just because he learned that his parents aren't that much of a lycantrhope friendly people and that his father had killed a lot of them before he was even born.He hated living under his parents' rule.
Hehated feeling like he's supposed to be followed by all downwolders just because he was a nephilim. He hated it so much.
And so, a month ago, he decided to just run away. He bore every runes that marked up his body, explaining that it was just some kind of tattoo to every mundane that would ask him about it.
The mundanes, as for his observations, are stupid and ignorant. He doesn't want to degrade the whole mundane population, but Yoongi thinks they need some more educating about values and manners. Especially manners. But of course Yoongi had encountered mundanes that are actually kind. One of them were named Hoseok. Hoseok had lent him money to buy himself some food when he told him that he's just straying around and technically doesn't have a home.
Another was a guy named Namjoon. Hoseok was the one to introduce him to Yoongi. He had learned in the few days that he's conversed with Namjoon that the guy was a rapper and a song producer on top of that. Yoongi had wondered for a second if he'd be a producer too if ever he was not living a nephilim life.
Then a week later, he met Jungkook while he was walking down the streets of Manhattan. He didn't notice it at first but as he inspected him, he noticed Jungkook's pointed fangs and he watched as the guy approached a passerby and dragged her to a nearby alley that stinks of the smell of drainage.
Almost on impulse, Yoongi had ran to where they were at, afraid that the guy had already bitten his prey. He can't help the sudden urge of protecting the human. That was what he was trained to do in the first place.
When Yoongi had entered the alley, Jungkook was already standing straight in front of him, the girl looking lifeless behind him, but she made no move to run or scream.
"Leave us," Jungkook had ordered, and the girl went away almost immediately. "There's a nephilim in town, I see," Jungkook had spoken once the girl was nowhere in sight.
"Look, I'm not here to fight-"
"I know." Jungkook smirked at him.
"What?"
"Words spread around fast if you're a Night Children. We are second to know about gossips and news even before any shadowhunters do." Jungkook had crossed his arms by then.
"And neither am I up for any fight. Do you seriously think I'd bite a random person that's walking by just like that, little nephilim?"
