"Hey," Yoongi greeted as he handed Jimin a box of cupcakes.

"Hey." Jimin carried the box and placed it on their dining table.

"How did you managed to find an open bakeshop at this time of the night?" Jimin asked, walking up to Yoongi and kissing his cheek lightly.

"I pre-ordered one. I know you'd like to eat sweets tonight," Yoongi answered.

"Oh, you know me too well."

It was 22:30. Still one and a half hour before
midnight. Before New Year's Eve.

Jimin had put on a movie for Yoongi and him to watch. Halfway through the movie, Yoongi informed Jimin that he had to get something outside. Though Jimin was a bit hesitant, he let Yoongi went out. He stopped the movie and waited patiently for his roommate-and his currently boyfriend to be back.

Both cuddled together on the sofa as Jimin resumed the paused movie. Yoongi spooned his spouse from behind.

They were watching "Wreck It Ralph", a movie that Jimin had loved ever since the very first time that he had watched it. Yoongi isn't really fond of movies that mostly suits kids (no offense) but as long as he's with Jimin as he watched it, hell be satisfied.

They ate the cupcakes while watching the movie. Yoongi had some trouble eating his because of their position. He had to scoot a bit away from Jimin in order to take a bite from his cupcake and make sure Jimin won't get any icing on his hair.

Once the movie was done, Yoongi rolled Jimin's body to face him. He tangled their legs together and caressed his face in admiration. "I love you," he whispered, like there was someone else who might hear his words. Jimin giggled.

"I love you too." Jimin whispered back. He averted his eyes to Yoongi's hair, weaving his hand on it, feeling the smooth, silky strands. "So much," he added.

They stayed like that for a while until they heard loud noises of explosion, followed by different lights coloring the night sky. Jimin's eyes widened in realization and excitement.

Fireworks.

"Fireworks display!" He exclaimed. His boyfriend chuckled as he followed the now jumping Jimin on the balcony. Yoongi hugged Jimin from behind. They watched the fireworks together with a smile plastered on both of their faces. The fireworks were still few since it isn't exactly New Year yet. Just two more minutes to go. Two more minutes of love and affection for Yoongi and Jimin.

"You know, I don't think I would regret staying here for the New Year." Jimin said, turning his face in order to see Yoongi.

"Yeah, me too." Yoongi kissed his spouse's cheek, nuzzling his head on Jimin's neck afterwards. Jimin returned his gaze at the sky.

The dark sky was painted with different fading colors. From blue, to pink, yellow, green. There were lots of colors. Jimin loved watching the fireworks, knowing that he was with his beloved as he did so. That he was with Yoongi.

Just then, their neighbors started piling up on their own balconies, one being Taehyung and Hoseok.

"Happy Birthday Jimin-ssi!" Taehyung shouted, even though their apartments were just beside each other.

Jimin chuckled. It wasn't his birthday, but he'll take it as a greeting for the New Year.

"Happy New Year Jiminie!" Hoseok shouted.

"Happy New Year!" Jimin shouted back at them. "Aren't you going to greet them?"

"Happy New Year," Yoongi muttered. He doesn't really want to. All he wants to do for now was cuddle with his lovely boy.

Taehyung started screaming when the countdown started. Hoseok tried to calm his own spouse but Taehyung was just enjoying it too much. Jimin chuckled at the two. They really are a cute couple.

"-nine!"

"Hey Yoongi hyung?"

"-eight!"

"Yeah?"

"-seven!"

"How long do you think we'll last?"

"-six!"

Yoongi untangled his arms from its hug around Jimin's waist, and turned Jimin around to face him. He smiled.

"-five!"

"Until I die. I wont-"

"-four!"

"-let you go. Ever"

Jimin chuckled. He pecked Yoongi's lips.

"-three!"

"I love you," Jimin said, caressing Yoongi's cheeks.

"-two!"

"I know. I-"

"-one!"

"love you too."

Yoongi kissed Jimin deeply. It was a way of showing him they'll not part until the end. It was to reassure him that he loves him. It was a way to show how he loved Jimin so much.

Jimin loved how Yoongi kissed him that night. He loved everything about him.
