2 weeks later:
Laur's pov
I lay on my bed thinking about what I'm going to do for the summer break, yes it is now summer break and let me catch you up on what is gong on, Jack and I are now back together, yeah ik, sounds pathetic, but i know that I love him, and I'll give him a chance to redeem himself every time. Even tho it'll end up with me being hurt. That's just how I am, I give in easily, WAY too easily. I decided to call Jack to see if he was up to hang out.
I got my phone out all called his number.
Convo between jack and Laur
L= Laur J=jack
L- hi jack
J- hey babe, what's up?
L- nothing I was wondering if you'd wanna hang out today?
J- umm... Idk I'm kinda busy today but maybe tomorrow?
L- oh, um sure, that's ok see ya
J- see ya
Then he hung up. I decided to call Bailey and see if she was free to do something.
Convo between Bailey and Laur
L=Laur B= Bailey
L- hey Bai
B- oh hey Laur what's up?
L- not much just wondering if you wanna hang today.
B- oh.... uhm sorry I have somewhere to be right now but I'll call you tomorrow? Ok.... bye
She then hung up. Something was off but I decided to just brush it off. I got off of my bed and went downstairs to see my dad gone, what a surprise, note the sarcasm I go to the fridge and get out some milk and cookies and take them up to my bed.
2 hours later:
All I've been doing for the past two hours is sitting around listening to music ( mostly Shawn's tho) the past week I've become OBSESSED with Shawn Mendes and I can for once understand why all the girls basically swoon over him at school.
I decide that I need to get out of the house, so I get up, get ready and change into my maroon shirt and black denim shorts followed by a maroon flower headband, i grab my jacket and phone put on my white converse then head out the door. -A/N the media above is her outfit-
Even tho it's summer here in Canada, it's still pretty cold so you can't leave the house without a jacket. - A/n I don't live in Canada so i don't really know if you need a jacket in summer there, but for the sake of the book let's pretend you do, back to the story- I start walking towards Starbucks, call me a basic white girl but I love myself some Starbucks coffee.
As i turn the corner to Starbucks i see a couple making out right in front of the entrance, ugh i hate PDA like GET A ROOM PEOPLE, as i get closer i see that they both look strangely familiar, that's because its JACK! i suddenly stop in my tracks. my.boyfriend.with.another.girl. i couldn't see the face of the girl, but i didn't need to, nothing, and i mean NOTHING can make this any worse than it already is. The girl slowly pulls away making it easier for me to see who it is, she turns to face my way and there she was, my best friend kissing My boyfriend in front of me.
