I woke up with fear taking over me. The academy really flew by quickly because soon we will find out who will win and who get to perform solo and win a scholarship. I was super scared because there is about twenty people left who skate well and they could win. "Good morning Bria", Alyson said to me as I gazed around the room trying to get my mind off of nervousness. "Morning", I said to her, "Today's the day". "Yep, only more activity and one more competition before we found out who the winners are. I dunno about me, but I know for sure you'll win", Alyson said as she hopped out of my bed. Huh? I was thinking the opposite. Me? A black girl winning?

"You seriously think I can win this thing", I said, "I know I'm good, but...". "But nothing, the things you have been through, the way Martha likes you, you WILL win", Alyson said to me, "As do for me, either me or Lucas might get eliminated and I don't know what to do". "Wow, seventeen people eliminated", I gulped, "Lucas could be- "I know and I was starting to like him", Alyson said, "He is so cute". "Is he your boyfriend", I asked. "No, but we did kiss", she sighs, "Ugh, whatever. We shouldn't be saying this. We don't know who's getting eliminated". "That's what I mean", I told her, "We don't know yet". "Yeah", She agreed, "Let's get ready". Alyson showers first and then I jump after her.

Then, we getted dressed and I blow- dry my dark hair and slip on some cute clothes that I packed. I was running out of clothes though which only reminded me that the academy is almost over :(! When we're ready, Martha announces that breakfast is ready. We link arms and walk out to follow the huge crowd to dinner hall. When we were walking, Lucas come out of nowhere and said, "Hi Alyson". Alyson tossed her blonde hair and replied, "Hai, Lucas. Can we talk". "Sure thing", Lucas said happily and I let go of her as she takes Lucas's hand and walks away with him. I give her the thumbs up and she giggles happily.

Then out of nowhere, Tyler comes up to me. "Hai Bria", Tyler said happily, "Are you excited". "For what", I asked. "Seventeen people are being eliminated and seven people are being eliminated from the activity. You might win after all". Ugh, here we go again :/. "I am not sure who will win Tyler", I sighed, "It doesn't have to be me". Tyler ignored me and asked, "How are your ankles". Oops, I almost forgot about that. "They're fine, Tyler. It's not your fault". "That's great", Tyler putting his arm around me, "I didn't want to hurt you". "Tyler, come on. It's not your fault. Let's not talk about my ankles, okay", I said firmly. He sighed defeated, "Okay Bria, I won't talk about it".

I smiled, "Good! So, let's go eat breakfast". He takes his arm around me and interlocks my hands with his. We walk inside the dinner hall and got our breakfast slowly. As we did, someone with brown hair and blue eyes smiled. "Hey Nig- I mean Bria, sorry. I know you will", She said to me, "Good luck you two lovebirds". I laughed and so does Tyler as we chimed, "Thanks". (The girl was played by miley cyrus haha onto the story!! Sorry for interupptions lol Kiera Price). The girl and walked away with her food as we went and sat down. As we ate, people glanced over at us and whispered, 'THOSE LOVEBIRDS MIGHT WIN'. For some reason, it really annoyed and I ate faster so I could get onto the academy to find out if I was winning or not.

When I was finished, I stashed some mints into my mouth and gave some to Tyler. "What is this for", He asked. I laughed, "You'll see". When we finished the mints, I pulled him towards me and kissed him. Hah, so the people who were watching us can back off and leave me alone. I mean, I know we are lovebirds but it's not knowing thinking we might win when they are other good skaters out there. Okay, maybe I didn't make sense there, but that's what I mean. Tyler lets go and I was about to scowl at him when I noticed Martha was coming up to us. "Hi", I said, "I can't wait for the next activity". "Me either, in fact it's time for the next activity.
