Chapter one.

"It's been one of those days, you try and forget about it...."

Compromise

Two years later -

Stephanie's P.O.V

"Hey honey, wake up," My mom said while caressing my shoulder.

I turned towards her,"No," I groaned and put the pillow over my face since the sunlight was annoying the hell out of me. It's the first day of school, my senior year, great. I really don't want to go back to school, then again, I don't think anybody wants to. I just want summer to continue so I can go to the pool everyday like the past 3 months. Me and Matthew could just stay out of each others way like the whole summer, now I'm forced to go with him in the same school.

"Get up, it's almost seven, and school starts at eight," mom said snapping her fingers, that meant i have to get up now, or she's killing me. I never knew how annoying her voice was until now.

"I'm sick," I let out a few fake coughs, I turned away from her and faced my wall, which was kind of cool because of the air conditioner I had in my room. My mom let out a sigh,

"You were in the pool yesterday, how can you possibly be sick?"

she muttered, I'm pretty sure she was rolling her eyes. But goodness, my mother was right.

"But mommmmyy," I pleaded and dragged my words.

"People will make fun of me," I joked.

"Oh please, get up before I drag you off your bed. Breakfast will be done soon," She snarled and got up from my bed, and closed the door behind her.

I groaned and sat up, yawning like a monster and stretching before heading to the bathroom. I turned on the water and let the cold water run on me, waking me up, before switching to the hot. After showering I quickly gathered my clothing, a white pullover hoodie, and some black jeans. I ran a brush through my chestnut brown hair and looked at myself in the mirror. A girl with aqua blue eyes, pale skin, and freckles stared back at me. I smirked at my reflection and made my way into my kitchen that separates itself from the living area by a banister. I say at the black colored granite island counter, and rest my head on my hand. I inhaled the pancake smell, and it smelled like the regular. Which had been chocolate chip. My mom turned around, "Look whose up," she smiled and set down 3 pancakes on my dish. She had slight curly hair, navy blue eyes, and freckles. We were similar, except my eyes were aquamarine shade, and well, I didn't have wrinkles or curly hair.

I faked a couple of coughs and sipped on my orange juice. I grabbed the syrup and drowned my cakes, and shoved a forkful into my mouth. Man, I was a monster. I might as well have shoved the whole pancake in my mouth. I chewed angrily and swallowed. I really wasn't a morning a person.

"Good morning lovelies" Matthew sang while coming down the staircase. Oh goodness, Matthew. He was a senior just like me, who looked exactly like me, and who I had to attend my senior year with. He stumbled down the stairs and almost fell on his face, causing me to choke on the juice I was drinking. I also haven't mentioned that he was popular thought our school. I rolled my eyes at him, and he pulled me into a hug.

I scowled and slapped him away, then continued eating. Why did I have to be given a twin like him. Thanks to him I lost one precious minute of eating.

"Well, it's time for my lovelies to go to school," my mom smiled happily. I bet she was happy that school started so we can be out of the house. I groaned and grabbed my bag and made my way out.

"Oh and Steph," my mom said, I spun around and looked back at her,

"Don't kill anyone," she grinned. "I'll try and make sure it's not Matt," I joked with her and made my way out to Matthews car, which had been a ref BMW. My mom had gotten him a car, but not me. It's kind of unfair to me. I pulled myself in the seat next to him.
