Toby's POV:

Today is Monday, which means I have work.  My boss says I can take off as long as I need to in order to pull myself together, but nothing will make me feel better until Spencer is safe in my arms. But, since I've been off for 2 months now, I decide that it would be a good idea if I went today.

*AT WORK*

I pull into the parking lot at Bob's Carpentry and step out of the car.  I see Caleb talking to a couple of my co-workers.  He notices me and walks over.

"Hey man, how are ya holding up?" he asks with sympathy.

"I'm doing ok," I say with a small smile on my face.

He knows I'm lying, but doesn't press.  Instead he pats my shoudler, says, "I'm sorry man," and walks away.  Honestly, I wish people would stop feeling sorry for me.  I'm fine, but I know in my heart that Spencer is not fine.

The rest of work consists of me and a couple other guys drawing out the plans for a project for someone who just moved back to Rosewood.  I wonder who it could be, until I see the name on the order form.

I read the form aloud and my heart sinks: Jessica Dilaurentis.

She is the meanest, most bitter woman in all of Rosewood, and not to mention, she hates Spencer's guts.  I think to myself and decide it might not be all bad to work over there.  It might be a good chance for me to snoop around.

Because deep down inside, I know she had something to do with Spencer's disappearance.

*2 DAYS LATER*

Today is my first day at Mrs. D's house and she already doesn't want me working on the job, for some reason.  My boss eventually talks her into it and she finally goes along with it.  For some odd reason, she wants a shed with a cellar underground in her backyard.  It's not my job to question customers, but this is my oddest project yet.  We don't have many tornadoes, and we haven't had any fires or earthquakes in a while, so I don't know why she would need something like this.

I get right to work, clearing the area where she wants her shed to be, until I see Mrs. D. walk out of the house, get into her car, and drive off.  This is the perfect time for snooping around.

"Hey Caleb, I'm gonna go on break.  Cover for me?" I ask, and he willingly nods.

I go around to the side of the house and notice a window open.  I quietly climb in, and find myself in the kitchen.  I look around to make sure no one is here, and walk upstairs to her bedroom.  Inside are many pictures of Alison.  Pictures of her at ages 7, 13, and 15.  Memories come flowing back to me as I look at the one of her at age 15.  But that's not what I'm here for, I think to myself, and get to snooping.

I come across a drawer that is locked.  There's no key anywhere to be found.  Whatever is in that drawer, she doesn't want anybody to see.  I hear a car door slam and quickly run down the stairs and literally jump out the window.  That's when I get the text.

From: Unknown

"Close call, wasn't it Toby?  I bet you're just dying to know what's in that drawer.  Here, I'll give you a hint:  'In the drawer, you will see, something relating to your Spency.'  Play my game and maybe you'll see your precious Spencer again.

Kisses, -A"

This sets me over the edge, and that's when I decide I'm done playing around.  I'm getting Spencer back and I'm getting her back now, so if that means playing Wren's little game, then that's what I'm going to do.

[( A/N: Toby's getting mad!  Do you think Wren will ever return Spencer to Toby?  Don't forget to comment and vote!  BTW, sorry for the cliffhanger!  Kisses, -Amy )]
