Prologue
Inspiration: The Outsiders
Hawkins Indiana is just your ordinary town, people know people and word spreads around quick.  For y/n that is a bad thing, being the child of an alcoholic father and an abusive mother rumors travel.  People called her a slut and a dirty whore, bad wolf and name you could think of that's what she was.  Being a greaser didn't help much either, greasers were what people liked to call the poor people that lived in the hood and wore leather jackets and greased their hair up and got into gang fights.   The Soc's weren't any better, they would come and jump the greasers and get into beer blast just for kicks but they wouldn't get caught, the worst of them was jack Grazer.  He would do the most damage and leave clean because he was the son of the mayor Mrs Grazer.  And Just like any other day Jack was out with his mustang looking for new prey.

Chapter 1
The School bell rang and the halls flooded with teenagers fleeing from the classrooms as if there was a fire.  Just another day in Hawkins High School the jocks went to practice  the Cheerleaders watched, the nerds went to their math clubs and the music clique went to choir the Soc's went in their Mustangs and made fun of the people walking home and where do I stand in all of that?, I am a greaser so I sneak through the back and hop the fence to stay out of the commotion because I know If I step foot out the front I'm dead meat.

Once everyone is gone i wait by the girls bathroom until my group comes and just like it was timed Millie and Noah come around the corner and run up to me.

"ready to leave" I ask and get nods as a response.

We walk over to the back door and Noah swings it open holding the door for Millie and I.  Once we are all out we sprint into the grass field and hop under the bleachers and run up to the fence.  Once we get to the fence I put my hand out and Noah steps on it hopping over the other side, then Millie does the same and Noah helps her down finally I step back and Jump the Fence almost tripping but making it over okay.  I brush my hands against my old jeans and I stuff my hands in my pockets of my torn up Denim jacket.

"So what are your guys plans for the weekend" Noah asks while he stand in front of us walking backward with his hand out making a thumbs to ask for a ride.

"Nothing much what about you Millie?" I say while running up to Noah and knocking his hand down.

"Well I have a date...." She said while looking down with a blush.

Millie was one of the toughest girls I knew she could beat anyone but around Noah and I she was the sweetest person ever.

"really with who?" I asked smiling at her.

"Troy' She said with a grin as if she won a prize

"Troy Harrington?" Noah asked shocked

"Yup" 

I laughed and Noah smiled impressed.  

As we turned the corner of Merkwood we heard an engine rear around the last corner.  I stopped in my tracks and everyone did the same.  My heart started to beat a thousand beats per minute and my hands started to shake.  Noah and Millie looked at me with the same nervous expression I had plastered on my face.  Millie slowly walked around the corner to check.  Once she was in view of the street her face dropped and turned into a frightened one.  she quickly turned around and ran the opposite direction from where she was standing.  She looked behind her to see that me and Noah were still in the same place as we started she stopped.

"It's The Soc's" she yelled at us.

Quickly Noah and I followed Millie through Merkwood and past bob's radio Shack,  The car was right behind us but that didn't stop s from running.  Millie started to slow down Which caused me and Noah to and just like that we were surrounded by the Soc s. Wyatt and Sophia were on my left and Wyatt's arm was around Sophia and jack was in the middle right in front of us and next to him was Finn.  Everyone had a smirk on their faces besides Finn.  finn looked like he was dreading what was going to happen

"What did you really think you were going to lose us?" Jack said with a chuckle

"Fuck off assholes" Millie said with her confident tone that she used around people she was going to fight.

"Calm down hood queen we are here for your little whore of a friend" jack said grabbing your shirt.

You pulled at his hand and he wouldn't budge.  Jack laughed as he watched you struggle.  Millie went to go help but Sophia grabbed her and Wyatt did the same with Noah.  

"Now Finn give me the blade" Jack said looking at Finn

"Jack....." Finn said hesitant. 

"Shut up and grab me the blade" Finn went back to the car and reached into the glove compartment.  He pulled out a blade and brought it to Jack.

Before Jack could do anything I swung my right arm and grabbed Jacks thumb and twisted his arm to face him the i took my left arm and grabbed Jacks wrist and brought his arm down which flung his whole body to the floor.  Wyatt then let go of Noah and went to go punch me but I ducked and punched him back Knocking him backwards which gave Noah enough time to grab Wyatt and start punching him senseless.  Sophia then let go of Millie to go help Wyatt but Millie grabbed Sophia and slapped her and pushed her to the floor.  While Noah knocked out Wyatt and Sophia ran away I backed up and checked for any police.  When I was looking I saw Jack come up behind me, help punched me and I fell to the ground.  Jack went to go dive on top of me but something stopped him.  Finn had grabbed Jack and swung him around and slapped him.

Jack looked at him in shock and pushed himself off of Finn.  Jack cussed at Finn and grabbed Wyatt and hopped into his car.  When he drove off he stuck out his middle finger and sped away.  I stayed on the floor and looked at Finn.  Then Millie appeared in front of me and put her hand out helping me up.

"Come on y/n we better leave" Noah said nervous that Sophia may have called the cops

"....okay...." I said still staring at Finn, there was something about him that made me feel weird i just couldn't put a finger on it

Millie pulled me out of my trans by tugging my arm.  I turned to her and we started to run.  Before we turned the block I looked back at Finn and saluted at he with two fingers saying goodbye.  He waved back and I smiled and continued running

I figured out what that weird feeling was when I was around Finn it was
