Chapter 4

Eli came out not to long after. "So was last night fun?"

"That was one of the best times of my life."

He just stood there looking at me for a little then said "Tell me something I don't know about you."

I didn't know what to say so I blurted out "My family died in a car accident and the only reason I'm alive is because my sister stopped some glass from going into my stomach but I do have a scar on the back of my head."

He just stands there astonished at first he just stares at me then starts to say something but I stop him and say"I don't want any Oh I'm so sorry or oh my do you need anything. K?"

"K umm so I don't know what to say." I left him word less.

"Your turn tell me something about you."

" K umm I had a crush on a really beautiful girl since 9th grade." We were seniors.

"Let me guess Quinn?" he shook his head full of shaggy hair I love his hair. "K Ava or anyone else in her squad. " Another shake.

"I'll give you a hint she never goes to the lunchroom without her best friend." he smiled then chuckled.

"So not a popular girl... I don't know I give up." I had absolute no clue who she could be.

He never told me so after he and Quinn left I checked the date March 16, 2046. Shit it was my brothers birthday and the my mom and dad came for my monthly check up on my apartment. Jesus so now I had to get a birthday present and clean my apartment before noon and it's... 11:30! Great lordly jesus please let them forget about me!

I bought him the new iphone 25. I got maria (my cleaning robot) to clean my apartment. I don't like technology very much so I usually clean up myself. But fuck it she does a better job than me in like 2 minutes.

When my mom came she just barged in... "Excuse me I don't need any privacy at all." I said annoyed.

"Well darling I seen every bit of you and i'm in a rush, did you pay the rent?"

" Yes mother I paid everything, here's Archies birthday gift." I handed it to her and she tossed it in her bag.

"Bye sweetheart see you next month. Oh do want to come over on your birthday or do you wanna ditch us."

"Bye and ditch I have plans." my family is SO annoying especially on birthdays it's best if you get out of them.

"Okay then."

After she leaves I text Quinn saying to meet me at caribou coffee in 5. When she texts k I head out. About half way here she asks Can Eli come? ; ) Fine but he's buying his own coffee, He said that's fine also he'll buy all of yours, What No i text back.

When I get there Quinn and Eli are already there.I asked how they got there so fast and he said he rode there with his motorcycle. Quinn must have seen my face fall. Then she said "Oh well i walked and he was already here." Then offered me a smile but I was too stubborn to smile back.

"Hey there's no need to fight I can take you on it plus that's why I wanted to come." Eli said to me. After we ordered Quinn went to my place to wish Jason (Archie) a happy birthday there's some chemistry between them.
