I couldn't stop smiling. I was so infatuated with him. I fell in love all over again. For my best friend. He was amazing and he was the perfect person for me, yet I never realized. How could I have been so clueless?
Matt never loved me and never will. I do know that Grayson will.
I payed for the food and coffee, even though I implied it was Grayson's treat. We then started walking down the streets of West 10th and found a small and rustic boutique full of jewelry and expensive accessories. I was in awe.
The store itself was all black and white, like something out of an old picture. There were boldly colored clothing racks holding boldly colored clothes items. The jewelry section of the store was like jewel heaven. There was a ring that caught my eye. It was a silver ring encrusted with small crystals and a beautiful diamond in the middle.
I kept staring at it, admiring its beauty until Grayson leaned next to me. I looked into his eyes then pointed at the ring in the display. "Look at it," I said.
"Woah," He replied, "That diamond's bigger than my future." He then looked up at me and smiled.
"That diamond's prettier than me!" I said. Grayson playfully smacked my arm. "Shut up, you're a thousand times prettier than that tiny little diamond."
My heart melted a little bit. "Aww, thanks Gray," I said in response to his compliment.
He smiles back at me.

When we got back to Gray's apartment, we were home alone. Ethan had gone to run some errands, if what he texted Grayson was true. Lately, Ethan and Ariana had gotten closer. If you know what I mean. I'm pretty sure he was going out with Ariana but I kept it to myself.
"So...what do you want to do?" I asked.
"You," He replied with a smirk.
My jaw dropped. "W-what?" I asked. "I'm kidding, Emily!" Grayson says laughing. "Let's watch a movie or something." I feel my cheeks heat up. Grayson grabs his laptop, opens it, then plugs a cord into it and the TV so the screen shows up on the TV. "What should we watch?"
"Oh my god. The First Time. It's good," I say. Grayson groans. "Please no chick flicks. I'm trying to stay a guy for today," He says. I give him puppy eyes. "It's a cute movie. C'mon Gray."
"Fine. Only because I love you," He says with a smile. He clicks the movie and slides back onto the couch, wrapping an arm around me. I lean my head onto his shoulder and slide my hand onto his. He looks at me and kisses me.
He seemed like just a crush but he was so much more.

The movie then cuts to Dave in Aubrey's room and the tension between them is unimaginable, so is the tension between Grayson and I. Every time I look up at him he squeezes his hand harder on my thigh.
I look at him one more time and we hold eye contact until he breaks it by leaning in and kissing me, grabbing the side of my face. I kiss him back and he leans back, causing me to lay on top of him, straddling him. I kiss his neck until he flips me over, taking off his shirt. I take a deep breath and look at his abs.
"Holy shit," I mutter to myself, earning a small chuckle from Grayson. He pulls off mine as well, unhooks my bra, and starts kissing down my torso until he reaches my waist. I put a hand on his head, running it through his hair. He starts to pull down my skirt but I hesitate.
"Wait, Gray. T-this isn't right. Just yesterday I dumped my cheating ex-boyfriend. And yes, I know that we both have had feelings for each other..." I say, looking down, "...for a long time, b-but we can't do this now. I can't sleep with you today, Gray. I'm sorry," I say, sitting up.
He looks up at me and gives me a smile. "It's okay, Emily. Don't worry. We can do this any other time that you're comfortable," He says, holding my hands. I smile at him and kiss him.
"Thank you, Gray."
Suddenly the door opens and Ethan walks through. I quickly cross my arms over my chest and so does Grayson. Ethan grows a smirk on his face. "What were you two doing?" He asks.
"N-nothing! It just got hot," I blurted out. Both of the twins look at me confused.
"It's the middle of December, how are you hot?" He asks again. I bite my lip. "I guess I'm just bad at excuses. Now look away I need to put on my clothes," I respond. Ethan walks back into his room laughing to himself.
Gray and I share a look and start bursting out laughing. I pull on my shirt and reposition myself to where I was sitting, in Grayson's arms. My god I loved him.
